Mallory waits until everyone's questions are answered to avoid swamping their host.

"Like, I am not vaccinated against exotic diseases, so if we travel to other countries, are those costs covered?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Does work on the weekend, during the night or holidays pay extra?"

"What sort of hazard pay is there, what sort of benefits are there, what happens when someone gets hurt, and how far would we be going one trips?" Theo has a hard look on their face. This stinks of something tricky.

"Is there a christmas bonus?"

"When do we get our first pay cheque?"

"Like, I am not vaccinated against exotic diseases, so if we travel to other countries, are those costs covered?"

Gord glances over to Syzygy who smoothly replies, "The details are all in the contract. I can assure you all that hazard pay and benefits are already included. As contract workers I'm afraid that I can't offer you all of the perks which you might be used to in a permanent position, but I believe that the generous bounty I am offering for souls will compensate for that. As for where this job will take you? Anywhere on the globe, of course. Don't worry. Provisions and expenses are already included for travel at no costs to yourselves."

"Wait, is this dangerous?"

"Of course it is," the demon says, giving Willow a look as if wondering how she didn't realize it sooner. "But if you take the proper steps then you can minimize the risks and work safely and effectively. It's no different from dealing with wild animals. I can assure you that the Ministry of Labour has already approved the undertaking of his occupation, else I would not be offering it. For those, hopefully rare, occasions where you do get hurt, I have provided potions to heal your wounds. All equipment is supplied free of charge, of course."

"...How are we supposed to communicate with ghosts if we can't perceive them?"

Gord takes the opportunity to answer, "A very good question. The answer is that, with the return of magic, many ghosts are able to be seen and interacted with. Not all of them of course, but more than enough to keep us employed. I believe it's due to the nature of the soul and how it affects magic? I'm sure you'll understand if you sign up and participate in a ghost hunt."

[Akroma]

"Do these donuts contain hazelnuts btw?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"No. They do not."

[SOLDIER First]

"Are there measures in place for our safety and protection?"

[Akroma]

"Peanuts?"

[TheBiggerFish]

"Is that we're working for a demon - or with - going to affect these souls in the afterlife?"

"Yeah, but they weren't going to heaven anyways."
Kyle shrugs.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Peanuts?"

"The allergy information was set out in front of the snacks."

"Are there measures in place for our safety and protection?"

"Of course. As much as can be reasonably included, given the nature of this occupation. Not all ghosts are friendly when you first meet them."

"Is that we're working for a demon - or with - going to affect these souls in the afterlife?"

"I don't see how. They are going to be transported to Limbo to be judged, which is what should have happened to them in the first place."

[Akroma]

"I could have sworn..."

Willow hands a doughnut to Kyle

"Does this taste like nuts to you?"

[SOLDIER First]

He nods.

Kyle looks confused before taking a bite of the proffered doughnut.

"Are you certain that there will be no influence upon the fate of the lost souls we collect because of our employer?"

[Akroma]

"Well?"
