Theo intercepts the lass and fosters a plate onto her. "Enjoy!" They then continue off to the duochromatic one.

"Well, if you insist, I could get you a small discount. We'll have plenty of time to discuss that."

Bill sits at the table and begins eating , continuously gabbering about one product or another.

He scoffed again, turning his head away and walking past the esteemed con artist, hands shifting into his leather pockets.

The girl blinks, surprised, before breaking into the food, apparently too busy enjoying the windfall to even continue to a chair.  She does take a moment to scan the room...

[SOLDIER First]

Something shifts in the far corner.

The girl looks over at the far corner in idle curiosity, still taking advantage of the buffet for all it's worth.

"What crawled up your ass and died, anyway? You look like you're about to strangle someone." Shinobu gestures at the older man with her occupied hand, the other currently in use as part of her languid seating position.

[SOLDIER First]

"Pardon me," says a voice, directly behind her.

"Aah!"

The girl jumps forward as her hand goes to her bag, producing a can of pepper spray, before calming down into a decent stride to put some distance between her and unknown person before turning around.  Somehow, in all of that, the food wasn't even jostled.

[SOLDIER First]

It seems a scraggly-faced man has found his way into the room and to the buffet table without anyone noticing.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."

"Showing up behind people silently tends to do that..."

"When did you show up?"
May stares at the scraggly-faced man.

"My apologies.

I only arrived a minute ago, though. How are all of you?"
