Truetype font missing characters

I've been using either ascii or graphics pack with TWBT, until recently I tried ttf because of the delay of dfhack.
The problem is sometimes random characters are missing, or blinking.

So, does it have a solution?

This is not a solution but a way to cope with it, I just f12 when stuff is missing.
