The world so far:

The First Era

Ayuc the First Continent raises up from the depths, forever separating the world into land and sea. The continent is rocky and devoid of life, with the exception of a species of rock people. They gather in small societies around magic crystals, which slowly charge the rock people with their power and allow them to use magic.

Shortly thereafter in a northern region of Ayuc giant trees spring forth from the ground. When the ground stops shaking, the Lightwood stands tall and resolute. Among the branches and the roots of the trees are the Bearmen, the natural inhabitants of the Lightwood.

The rapid development of this world attracts the first god: The Masked Painter. This god of illusions loves a good story, and sees much promise in the budding world. For the moment he waits and watches as the world unfolds. Taking great pleasure in the savage storytelling of the bearmen and the blunt poetry of the rock people.

Next two new creatures appear in the world. The first is a species of small humanoids, who, without a real name, could be likened to gnomes. They are small, reproduce quickly, and lie often. They take up residence in small groves throughout the Lightwood, much to the dismay of the Bearmen. The second creature is Smiling Death Butterfly. This large carnivorous butterfly uses magic to trap its victims in an illusion. While they are happily locked inside a dreamworld, the butterfly devours the poor victim.

The first epic monster appears in the world. The Grey Wanderer. No one can say for certain what it truly looks like, but all are wary of this dangerous shapeshifter. It returns whatever treatment it receives, but much more severely. While it is a great threat to those who mistreat it, it can reward good people for even the smallest bit of goodwill. Mothers often use the Grey Wanderer's legend to teach their children to be nice and kind to others.

The Second Era

The second era begins with the raising of the second continent, Ignis. This harsh and inhopsitible land is highly volcanic and is often shaken by eruptions. These volcanoes spew ash and dust into the sky constantly, giving the air an awful taste. Occasionally strange obsidian shards are launched into the air by one of these volcanoes. There they hang often for years or even decades before crashing into the ground. During this period it was discovered that there where symbols etched into the obsidian stones in the Sky Cemetery, but their meaning wasn't discovered until several Eras later...

However, life was not completely absent on Ignis, a species of ash eating scorpions thrived in the harsh continent. Living solely off the volcanic ash, these giant territorial scorpions spread over the entire continent.

Yet this era also brought changes for Ayuc. The Lightwood saw the creation of the Fons, another psycho-magical creature. These pack herbivores look like a mix between a sloth and a tapir, but radiate a field of passivity around them. Any creature who wishes to do harm finds it difficult to do so in the presence of a Fon, and impossible when near a herd of them.

The second era comes to a conclusion with the arrival of the Trohnak. This race was, by far, the most destructive of all the creatures in the world. At least during the first two eras. These 10 foot tall brutes had the torso and arms of a gorilla, but the agile and strong legs of a mountain goat. They sported horns akin to those of a ram, and their fur was mostly shades of yellow. While they were by no means intellectuals, they had enough brainpower to form small tribes and, through sheer force and attrition, soon became a very dangerous force living on the outskirts of the Lightwood, often aggravating the bearmen who lived there.

Several small wars where fought between the Bearmen and the Trohnak, largely reffered to as the Trohnak/Bearmen Conflict. While Trohnaks were quite successful during the first few years of the conflict, the bearmen eventually found ways to outsmart the much stronger invaders, often using the psycho-magical creatures native to the Lightwood against the invaders. The conclusion of the Second Era is marked by the expulsion of the Trohnak from the Lightwood into the surrounding areas.

Create Continent: Forias (-100 points)
A land split by the warm and fertile North, and the cold frozen lands in the South of the continent where the suns warm rays seem nonexistent except for when Spring comes around unfreezing the lands. Creating a beautiful land only to be frozen again after the end of Spring, seperated by the mountain range that crosses the continent from west to east.

Goddess: Fiora (Free)
Goddess of Warmth and Ice or the Goddess of Forias. Fiora is one with the continent of Forias and if disrespected or angered she will lash out accordingly such as a bad harvest to earthquakes that could shake the entire continent. But if pleased she will calm and smile upon Forias and spread her "warmth" through the land!

Source of Magic: Eden (-100 points)
A gigantic golden leafed tree that seems to pass the clouds and go up endlessly in the center of Forias generating its pure magic throughout the entire continent.

Spoiler: First Race (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: 2 New Types of Magic (click to show/hide)

Epic Monster: The Doomwalker: A giant crab-like beast that roams the world. The name comes from the way it will crush anything in its path usually without noticing. When attacked it will retaliate with its massive claws that are capable of felling a lightwood tree. -200

50 - Magical Item: Mask of Underdog - Item created by the Mask Painter. Usually in bright red, easily wearable form resembling dog's face. It is usually found around areas deemed boring by the Mask Painter, by people who are losing everything they had, be it king or beggar. When worn by any sapient creature, the mask changes, taking perfect appearance of wearer's face and fusing with it, literally becoming wearer's face. In this state the wearer gains what they need to raise from their hardships; courage, wisdom, intelligence, skill or power. Once wearer is once again steady footing in their life, the mask falls off and disappears.

It's the Mask Painter's first tool to ensure stories where is none. It's first found by a Trohnak.

50 - Magical Item: Mask of Fool - Second story generator created by the Mask Painter. Identical in appearance with Mask of Underdog, but opposite in its purpose. It is found only by people in position of power, who have too much, in their moment of self doubt. When worn it becomes their second face just like its counterpart, but instead of giving, it takes. It takes courage, it takes wisdom, it makes its wearer make bad and foolish decisions, bringing them from heights down to their knees in mud. It can send judges into prison and ruin kingdoms.

While Mask of Fool and Mask of Underdog can be worn by siblings at the same time, they are never part of same story.

50 - Magical area: Library of Stories. An extradimensional place where all stories, poems, theatre manuscripts, all story telling mediums in history of this world are recorded. Good ones and bad ones are found here alike. No story is forgotten. Every continent has one wandering entrance, but only those the Mask Painter approves can enter, only one each decade. And as usual, Mask Painter is very fickle about his criterias. On some decade he may let in the first one asking, and on next it may be one specific person even if it never occurs to that person they could get in. Whatever fits Mask Painter's whim.

50 - Special event: Year of Fantasy - Once every 500 years Mask Painter walks on earth in disguise of trader, selling well made masks wherever a festival is going on. The masks he sells bring either fortune or misfortune to their new owners for rest of the year. On this year stories come life in accordance of storyteller's talent. Masterful orator may make listeners truly see and feel the story, as if they were part of it. In case Mask Painter is in the city/village, told stories may even make permanent changes into reality, such as new painting or mural on walls decipiting told story, replica of legendary weapon related to the story staying behind, or perhaps footprints of a monster on ceiling if it was a horror story.

Create God: Granius, God of stone, and the earth.
Magic area: the Earthen seat, home to the earthen empire. Created from several magic crystals.
Special Event: the creation of the Earthen Empire, made by the stone folk (my first species) to gather together to create special, never - before seen magic using combined crystals. And rule over their land.
The special event should cost maybe... 200 points. 250 in total. I have 600 points left.

New Race: Luctet "The Mourning People"
A race of people, with squat bodies and slightly greenish skin.  They are short and fat, with a strong urge to horde anything that shines. Their skin has a slightly slimy texture, but has the strength of leather. They have a large nose, that protrudes from the face, under the inset brow.  They have short, stubby arms and legs, with small hands and stubby fingers leading off of that:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
They constantly are in fear of their continent flooding, and killing them.

New God: Virdaq "The Cold God"
God of Water, Oceans, Death, and Cold.

New Continent: Ocemisas "The Flooded Continent"
The Continent of Ocemisas is a continents permanently under the sea level, with few or no points above it. Towering walls of water  dominate it's "coasts" held back from destroying the continent by Virdaq. The Luctets inhabit it, but other than that, it is covered in low vegetation, with little springy mushrooms and grass, all under half a cubit (Length of forearm) long.

Magical ore: Crysx Crystals
These extremely volatile minerals are found growing like thick, light blue moss on top of existing mineral nodes, such as iron or silver. They have a tendency to rapidly grow into large structures to fill almost any space so long as they are able to keep absorbing minerals. However, if they are ever exposed to direct sunlight, their internal temperature rises dramatically, quickly resulting in them rupturing in an explosive chain reaction. Entire caves can be excavated thanks to a sudden exposure of sunlight on a sizable vein of these crystals.

The only safe way to harvest them is to find the ones that grow in salt flats and marshes, feeding off the abundant salt minerals. This inhibits their explosive tendencies, and allows them to safely harvest sunlight. "Salinated" Crysx Crystals in direct sunlight are extremely hot, more than enough to melt through flesh. They retain this heat for several hours, making them excellent catalysts for fire spells, or for rapidly boiling water into steam.
