Is this single player with the thieves or is there trading of some kind?

Edit: To clarify I was meaning between thieves. I am a fence so I'm actually someone they would come to I would think.

What kind of trading do you mean?
If you mean trading interesting stuff you find yes.

If you mean buying and selling on the black market then no, this is about grave robbing, your advantage as a Fence is that you get much better prices for the stuff you find and some items the others don't.

EDIT: also added Scenics new character, forgot to add him before.
