(( wrist band with a small container sewn into it. I'm grabbing said wristband and opening said container...I wrote it as watch for some reason....also noir at least tried to eat that bread ration so she's at least ate something..
its most likely in one of her hands also what happened with the water in that action did I roll badly? And just not find water as well?))
I'll give this one to you, but do try to post bolded actions, even when discusssing previous actions.
Anyway, a Star Sprite appears and flits up to your face. it's bright expression turns dark almost instantly.
"You're not Jack. Oh. it's Yoooouuuu~~~ The 'you' is said with all the contempt a Sprite sized package can contain. And then teh Sprite hovers just out of arm;s reach, looking just off to the side of you, arms crossed.
More immediate than that. Player to GM for a moment, I get the perspective, please dont make me lawyer the question. Am I aware of my immediate surroundings? If a local predator was sneaking up on the cart right now, would I be able to notice it? You know what I'm trying to ask here.
I test how closely I can circle the cart, if I can fly between the spokes of its wheels safely. etc. I do not leave the scar the cart is in.
I don't know what senses I'm using to know what I do about my surroundings, so I can't specify what sensory data is appropriate to search for something. Do I know where all my teammates are? Do I know where our objective is? I seem to have senses beyond line of sight so...
actually, do I sense any of those giant flying tentacled creatures? if yes, since it is in close proxemity according to my current state, can I begin acquiring it from here?
Since my partner Star Sprite is so close, and I seem aware of her, and she probably aware of me, can I, from here, strike up a conversation and ask for basic pointers? things to look out for, how to find Omega, hazards, resources, tips and tricks, etc. Basic things to her, but vital to me.
GM to Player: yes, I know you get the scale. I needed to show that Aylia is currently struggling with the concept of "Immediate Surroundings" and needed to pay particular attention to them directly, which you are doing. Plus, I needed you top be specific in what you wanted to check, so I could give you the best answer possible. In other words - Star Sprite Thinking is somewhat alien, and Aylia hasn't quite settled into it properly.
If a local predator were to show up, you could notice it just fine, and could probably avoid it with little issue. Flying around the cart, you can make a circle of about fifty feet across. You can get closer doing fly-bys, and in general you can land on the cart abut one in three tries.
You don't know where your teammates are, though you feel a second Star Sprite go active, round the bottom of the planetoid.
The insides of planetoids tend to be more complex or hidden than Star Sprites generally sense, but as for the objective, I'll roll for that, since it is within possibility, but, because you didn't get the Star Sprite form perfectly, you'll be at a disadvantage here (seriously, your transform rolls tend to be rather low. Your saving grace there is that you take your time to acquire the forms, so you have a base success on which to build.) Hmm. hey look at that! You do know where the objective is. You can hear it, like a heartbeat. You can feel it's warmth, like the warmth of a homeside hearth. It's energy radiates throughout the planetoid, leaking out in various places and failing to reach the surface in most places. The Heart is strong, but the Host is broken. It's pretty much where you'd expect it to be, too - near dead center.
You could begin acquiring the tentacle monster from here, but in this form it would be difficult to hold the concept in mind long enough to get a good read. You could, at this point, fly right up to one, transform, sit on it's surface, and acquire from there.
You can strike up a conversation with your partner Sprite. You could fly directly to her, for that matter.
((Retroactive reply because I didn't see it before: ))
"It is unsure. Far closer, however, and group is starvation distance away."
Dar will try and use his druidic senses to find water, then. He'll keep leading Noir to the Lichen, but redirect if water is actually found.
Though it would be kinda unfair to not let Noir deal with the thinger first, since she's already had hours to do so.
hmm. Dar senses nothing, until a light fog approaches, coating the area with a fine dew. In most places on the surface, this dew would be blown away almost immediately by the wind, but down here at the pole, it lingers a bit. Dar senses that this will not last. as for redirecting - that's unnecessary, as the mist occurs just as Dar encounters the first of the lichen -red, spiky things looking like they are stabbing directly into any metal surface - or stabbing directly out of them. As for Noir, let's just say she's been struggling to stay awake, move along, keep up hope, and think all at the same time. it took her a while to remember the bracelet and open it.
Summon more bugs for me to eat, let Ebony eat from the ration packs.
Store as many leftover bugs as i can in the pouch on my belt, then continue following the star sprite.
You summon some small, grey, round beetles. their shells are hard, and they have little in the way of edible material. You aren't sure if the edible parts are not poisonous.
Yu and Ebony follwo the Star Sprite as she flits up a long series of stairs. After about twenty flights, your legs are burning, and Ebony is wheezing.
