"Hey, welcome back. I found the closet place to your dwarves. It's a cursed treasure vault.  Wanna go there?"

Response: This one is still within functional range, albeit barely. This one will try to do some emergency repairs while we go to this cursed vault.
Query: Why are these things so often cursed, anyway? That does seem to rather go against the idea of a place where one's valuable's are safe."

Attempt to do some repairs to myself with my repair bot. Focus on being able to move normally first, keep the ruined arm for last.

Be indignant, but inquire about the treasure vault anyway.
