Let's make sure they are not having us deliver a gravity bomb to the other planet.  Explain that such a weapon, based on what we saw with the ship, would likely destroy this solar system.  It would solve our problem, no more gravity power messing with our teardrive, but it would not be a good plan.

I think they have a reasonable idea of what their tech does.  I'm willing to take them at their word, since we are sort of on a clock/time bomb, and reasonably, if it's so terrible, they probably should have destroyed themselves already.

Let's keep in mind the way he responded. I have a feeling something isn't right.

It smell like a lie,

The ships of the other planet didn't shoot us afterall. What if they just wanted to talk?

But could we communicate with the other planet before they use their weapons?

We could scan the exact coordinates and figure if it is really a military base or a civilian city

We could lie and request some kind of communicator to keep in touch with this planet and some way of self protection in case anything goes wrong (weapon?)

Then we could just discover who is right and maybe bring the bomb back to the dictators face.

As the leader said, it looks that they don't have that much knowledge about our ship, just that it is fast, we can outsmart they somehow.

Before giving a final answer, you decide to make sure that they're not having you deliver a gravity-based bomb.

"What? Yes, the bomb is gravity-based. But it has been thoroughly tested and if it did destroy the solar system, you wouldn't be here talking to us."

Finding the answer acceptable enough for now, you agree to his proposal.

"I'll be sending [NAME] here to accompany you to ensure everything goes smoothly."
You forgot that the Leader (the name you call the leader of the ship's survivors for lack of a better name) was here. Frankly, you simply got a bit absorbed in the conversation and didn't notice her sitting to the side. She speaks up for the first time since you came here.
"I have sufficient knowledge of the workings of the bomb and will serve as an aid in other matters, as well."
"Anyways, I'll have the bomb delivered to your ship." He states as he waves away a now-exiting guard. "[NAME] has further information regarding the coordinates and as she has said, will be able to help you regarding anything else. We should know of the results by the time you arrive back. In the meantime, I'll oversee the preparation of a more material reward for you in addition to the aid I mentioned earlier. Good luck."

With that, he gets up and is escorted out of the room through another door by several guards before you have a chance to raise any additional questions. Leader gets up and starts walking towards the exit, looking at you in a fairly-expectant manner.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Well off we go.  Wait for the bomb, load it up and off we go.  Any second guessing can be attempted latter, when more information comes in.

You and Leader walk back to the ship, alone. The bomb gets loaded into the ship and you strap Leader into the copilot seat. Once everything's ready and secured, you take off. Once in orbit, the fabric of spacetime warps in front of you as you make your way to the ice planet. Leader doesn't say a single word, and appears to be constantly checking a tablet similar to the one the representative you were talking to earlier.

Eventually the ice planet comes into view as you dismiss the many warnings and alarms from the Teardrive that you've grown accustomed to at this point. Leader starts advising you in specific "holes" in their defenses that may delay their tracking time as you speed through the atmosphere at a speed just below the point where your ship would be torn apart by the entry. You reach a reasonable distance from the ground and start hovering, looking for the exact spot. As your Teardrive diagnostics screen indicates higher tension levels, you scan the terrain through the cockpit. Finally, you see it - an isolated large walled complex. Traffic to and from the facility isn't seen apart from a few ships landed in various landing spots inside the walls. Large text on one of the walls is translated as a dialect of the language your translator already knows.

"PLANETARY GRID PLANT A_1"

Leader looks at you impatiently.
"We have very little time before they begin tracking us. We have to land and deliver the bomb now."

Land, open the hatch, kick bomb out, (maybe wave at the surprised insurrectionists,) leave before they get a good idea of what the hell just happened.

"I will just confuse they"

Say "you never saw us, or the dictator will kill me" to whatever alien is there while you are leaving before they get a good idea of what the hell just happened and just go to face the package as some sort of gift before it blow

You and Leader quickly deliver the bomb within the proper distance and take off. The bomb is properly armed and should be detonating very soon.

Once in orbit, you look back at the plane-OH JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE FUCK
- ALERT - GRAVITATIONAL ABSORBER AT MAX STRAIN - ALERT -
- ALERT - GRAVITATIONAL ANOMALY DETECTED - ALERT -

The entire planet is starting to collapse in on itself! The site of the bomb is nonexistent now, probably now at the center of the planet. The rest of the planet is starting to follow as the land around the bomb site collapses into the planet's interior in a rapidly expanding blast radius. The entire planet appears to almost be buckling as your Teardrive Diagnostics alarm at the extreme gravitational stress. The planet will completely collapse in on itself shortly. You're unsure about the rest of the solar system, but you do know you'll be a victim too if you don't do something quick.

So. What do you do?

Achievement acquired: Destroyed a planet.

Uh...

Well, damn.   We should be fine, since the gravity of the planet hasn't actually changed, just become a lot denser.  Let's hope we didn't accidentally create a dime sized neutron star.

While the "actual" gravity of the planet likely hasn't changed, you're still experiencing immense gravitational pull towards the planet and your Teardrive (especially with a nonfunctional absorber) is not exactly stable in these situations.

we need to act quickly. Let's see if we can chain some small tear-jumps to pull ourselves away from the grava-nuke blast. Remind ourselves to get some sort of weapon and kill the bastard who had us deliver it if we make it out of this. Also, keep a close eye on our "co-conspirator" until we get to that point.

Giving a nasty glance at Leader, you quickly start plotting a chain of miniature "jumps" in order to get away without causing the Teardrive to catastrophically fail. You successfully complete the first jump without any complications. This one still ended within range (and orbit) of the collapsing planet, but your navigations system is picking up a signal - one that it's able to interpret thanks to the configurations made by the aliens.
It's a distress signal, and it matches with sensors too. Some kind of frigate similar in design to the one you encountered earlier on this planet. Despite its best efforts to maneuver to safety, it's being pulled in by the extreme gravity currently present. It and all hands aboard would probably be lost if you don't do something, but helping would be an extremely dangerous task and you don't know how to help. Perhaps some clever manipulation of the Teardrive not intended by the manufacturers, trying to "tug" them out, or rescuing what you can of their crew. Or something else entirely.

But you have to make your decision very quickly. You need some method to help them or you need to make the decision to continue running away. After all, who knows how they may react to you helping them and you do know the fact that there's a higher chance of you dying if you try to help them.
