((Huh.  I can't say I've ever seen a GM trade places with one of their players before.))

Trump orders the mooks to take out their shields and guns, and he readies his Overcompensator.  Loaded with Match AP, for now.

He then orders the mook without grenades to look around nearby for any routes higher in the building, or to a more secure area.  Grenade mook should stay within eyesight, but is ordered to guard some door that's a fair distance away.

Trump himself will take cover behind the receptionist's desk, and examine his surroundings.  What's the shape of the area, how many entrances are there, escape routes, etc?

((I do not have time to make a map at work so you will have to deal with verbal explanations once I get the chance to post. Also: I have no real idea what I am doing and no idea how rolls and shit work really. Amy has just sort of put me in this position, but hey, I don't mind really. :). I will have to get Mirella separated somehow for the sake of not affecting combat on both sides.))

((Don't worry too much, maps aren't really necessary.  Most people on this forum forego them for all but the most technical of systems--and WoD isn't a super technical system, combat wise.  As for knowing the rolls and system in general, I'm fairly certain nobody here really knows them, Aigre included.  Just do your best, try to be fair, and it'll probably work out fine.  :) ))

((I am really hoping that we aren't in a vampire elementary school))

"Shhh, it will be ok. . . "

Nikolai puts the woman in a sleeper hold until she loses consciousness. He then sets her down and assembles his rifle. He opens the window and gauges the visibility at this height.=

The mist is thick, there being a heaviness to it in the air. There is a thoughtfulness in how it moves, the way it keeps from creeping in through the open window, as though it’s happy outside. Visibility is 0, nothing can be seen out the window. More for Nikolai at the bottom of this post.

"Now, surely this building is destructible. Damn lazy devs, putting in invincible buildings."

Stick a nice big remote bomb by the entrance. Get an arrow and remote ready to fire.

A pack of TNT and wireless detonator are placed at the entrance. No one seems to have seen.

The teachers are all leading extraordinarily well behaved children from the classrooms all in the same direction. There is no play, no talking, not even a stray giggle. All the children are smiling happily to be at school and doing what they are told. The reception area has 5 exits, two behind the reception desk on either side, the one out the street which the party came in off, and two leading to corridors of classrooms on either side. The one to the right (if one is facing from the entrance to the reception desk) has had several parties of school children pass by from the far end of the corridor and turn just before the reception area. The teachers coax the children onward, and from this you can pick up that it is time for religious education.

Maybe I'll let Sialia GM this segment, she can improvise the story better than I can.

Yea I was doing the exam fretting thing.

So... here's my sheet, can I play?

Baron Tangorn of Gondor
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Cheiron has been concerned about the team’s performance in the field. Reports from the handler observing the team state there is a vicious competitive atmosphere and this can often lead to violence and other unproductive actions within the group. Cheiron has authorised that a potentially more stable operative join the group. Tangorn had just arrived when the mist rolled in, forcing him inside a nearby school. He has arrived in the library, having come in from an unrelated direction to the rest of the team. There is a classroom filled with computers on his right, ahead is a desk for students to check books out of the library, behind that an office for the librarian. The coridoor out runs to the left of this, and to his far left are rows of books, with some board games stored in the far corner. The corridor is the only exit from the library, apart from the small exit into the playground that the Baron came in through.

Meanwhile at the chapel, where Nikolai is sitting on the disused upper floor, mostly now used for spotlights and other ambient lighting effects. Presumably the bell tower that is still at one end rung the bell to signal the start of church or school. This floor has a good view down into the auditorium section, he hears the doors to the chapel open. From two separate doors, well behaved and silent children are filing in. They move with clearly practised precision, everyone taking an assigned seat which efficient diligence. The teachers begin to take their seats in the front row.
The layout of the first floor of the chapel includes four doors, one at each corner. One of these leads to the indoor corridor Nikolai took into the chapel. The large building is made to seat the entire school of children. At the front is a stage upon which rests a cross, altar and a row of seating, upon which is already seated the chaplain, dressed in his robes. Upon the altar is draped a white sheet, and resting on this is two large and two small cups, each filled with wine, and four small bowls filled with small crackers. Behind the stage are two doors leading into the backstage area.

((Hrm.  My skipping of grade school comes back to bite me.  I have virtually no idea how they're organized, or what areas might be defensible. >.< ))

Okay, look into those two doors behind the receptionist's desk, having a mook shoot the locks out if necessary (their MAC-10s are integrally suppressed with subsonic ammo; should be quiet enough to be inaudible down a corridor).  If either route has any indication of leading to stairs or some other path to an upper floor, go that way.  Failing that, go down whichever route that seems more restrictive/small, and therefore would serve as a better chokepoint.  Failing that, take the door on the right, or the classroom corridor on the right.

Oh, and tell explosives mook (Peter) to lead, shield and SMG ready.  The other mook (Barney) should take up the rear, again with his shield and SMG ready.

Nikolai loads his rifle with the non-AP rounds, but doesn't fire yet. He takes aim at the man in the robes and allows the ceremony to continue.

((I've played cat and mouse with the (school) authorities as well as vandalismed in many a school! I look for areas with more than one exit. Them corridors are deadly, but the trick is to escape vertically. Halls and fields and the like are nice places to hole up because of having more than one way out...))

Is the library empty? Does it have a restricted section?

The library is a regular school library, with a fiction and nonfiction section. Upon brief inspection, nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Find Trump at the reception area. Drop on a knee and offer him my sword in the defense of truth, justice and the American way.

Then follow Trump or Sean to the chapel.

(( Syv, in general public schools are shit for defensive areas. They are filled with windows and doors that open outwards….probably the area that's least likely to have a billion windows is to see if he can find a storm shelter area, those don't have windows….just lots and lots of doors typically.))

Sean heads to the chapel. He's had a troubling couple of days and he needs to seek some guidance of a spiritual nature.

The doors lead to the same block of offices. Clearly this is the administration and meeting areas of the school. Cubicles with some teachers’ names on them are the closest thing to Trump. Altogether it appears to be a dead end filled with bland administrative furniture. The school appears to be a single story over the majority of buildings. Trump continues down the corridor after the children, presumably with some subtlety, staying mostly out of sight. His mooks follow him.

Nikolai loads his rifle with the non-AP rounds, but doesn't fire yet. He takes aim at the man in the robes and allows the ceremony to continue.

Nikolai has the chaplain trained in his sights. Nikolai sits far enough back as to be hard to notice, and as the children are mostly below him, they can’t really see him through the floor.

Then follow Trump or Sean to the chapel.

After pledging fealty to the president of the united states, the soldier of Gondor begins following him, presumably humming the national anthem.

Sean has less subtlety about his movement, striding out into the corridor toward the chapel after the children. They don’t seem to notice at this point.

The party moves in the childrens’ wake toward the chapel, currently they will approach through the extension that leads off the main school, however there are 3 other entrances to the chapel all from the playgrounds outside. As the last children file in, the party peek around the corner in time to see a teacher close the door behind the students.

"Attack?  What is wrong with you, those are children!  I'm going to ask what's going on, and see if there's any illegal vampires here."

Trump continues to the chapel, and knocks loudly on the door.  He demands to be let in and told what's going on--he's the president of the United States!

Mirella steps into the school foyer a little late. Seeing no one around nor sign of where anyone is she begins to rifle through papers at reception for anything of note. The TNT on the doorframe of the entrance signals that her teammates are here somewhere, however the silence drifting through the corridors is almost as thick as the mist outside. She heads back behind the reception desk and into the office area behind. She has Butch stand guard at the door here. She searches thoroughly through drawers for any evidence of anything going on out of the ordinary, but it is only when she reaches the principal’s office at the back she finds anything of note.
The office has a dingy feel, the windows covered over with blackout curtains. Mirella’s eyes gaze over the shelves, garnished with trinkets. She runs her fingers along a shelf, seeing a black and white photo of a WWI company. She guesses the principal is amongst the men displayed there, as there is another picture of a young man dressed in uniform next to it.
Mirella makes her way up to the desk, giving a cursory check to the paperwork there. Everything seems to be in order other than the locked bottom drawer.
