Follow our comrades' lead, if combat's initiated, use the billhook to go for the legs and knock em down.
Breathe? So they're living, not undead?
> Follow the lead of our compatriots
+1
Since this is your first grasp of
true combat, or potential combat you decide to follow the lead of your companions.
A moment of silence passes, with each side
staring at each other, sizing each other up, you get a feeling that there will be
blood spilled tonight.
Slowly but somewhat fascinatingly the three opponents begin to align themselves with their selected enemy. To be specific, the
swordsman moves in to confront
Midhaor, the
axeman strides slowly towards
you and
Marrow and the
maceman makes his way towards
Jihv. You lose sight of what's going on around you, you focus only on your
opponents. You take off the
encumbering shield from your back and place it on the ground for quick retrieval.
(ROLL 1!) As tensions rise some could feel
lightning flow through the air, literally, Jukavh must've chanted a very
powerful spell but unfortunately it hit
Midhaor square on the back.
He
seizes up like a statue and can no longer move, stuck holding his weapon but unable to use it. You do not hear a single word creep from his helmet. You assume that it must've been a spell of
paralysis.
Marrow decides to take
Midhaor's place against the
swordsman.
(ROLL 8!) Before any of the other combatants can even reach eachother to strike you utilize your own reach advantage, with a
quick and
efficient downwards swing you pierce the
billhook into the left shoulder of the
axeman! You feel the hook go
deep between the mail-links underneath his plate, and it has latched. The
axeman let's out a
horrid scream.
