Talvius was not in a good situation. The adventure with the giants left him no better off and he still lacked the tools to take the monsters on. He would require divine assistance if he aspired to do something beyond his power. Alas, he knew not what to gain, save for the dreams that promised glory.

The people of Eversumme have been arming themselves and this was a chance for Talvius to use them. He would lead them into the dens of monsters and crush the beasts. To that end, he would fashion a staff for himself, which would help him encourage and lead people. He did not want to be their king, but merely sought to do the job with their hands.

Minor Act: create the Staff of the Pilgrim - a versatile item that can be used as a traveling aid or a weapon/tool, but it's most important quality lies in it's aura of persuasion - anything that is said by the wielder is amplified in the minds of the listeners and makes them more likely to follow what is being said, whether it is an encouragement or a rebuke. The Staff is made of dark wood, looks gnarly and is not made of a straight piece, but rather fashioned by taking the ugly wood and straightening it slowly, alongside fastidious polishing.
Fre Act: With the help of the Staff, Talvius preaches to the towns to gather their best warriors for a campaign against Old Hadrian monsters.
