She scratches her ear before continuing.
"Anyways, we'd just need you to help us with general bar stuff to get it running, setting up furniture, making a brewing area, that kind of stuff. After that... well, we're going to want more recipies, supply lines, stuff we need general adventurers for."

[Chevaleresse]

Marisa's mouth twists. "I mean, the term 'witch' might be accurate, but it has... connotations.

I could probably help out with that kind of thing as long as you promise that it gets more entertaining than housework."

"At the very least you're going to start with a monopoly on a pub. It's very important to have one if you're gonna be adventuring you know. Now then, if you'll follow me?"
Maribelle gestures back towards civilization.

[Chevaleresse]

Marisa raises an eyebrow. "You're going to tell me what an adventurer needs? She glances at Kurushimi.

[SOLDIER First]

"I have been adventuring for many years, and I have not once felt the urge to monopolize a pub, Maribelle.
But I will help."

"I said important. Not nessesary."
Maribelle begins leading them back to the pub which has an orderly stack of chairs and tables in front of it.

[SOLDIER First]

"I know."

Upon reaching the bar they pick up an entire stack of tables and then stand there.

[Chevaleresse]

Marisa follows her back to the bar. "So, what did you need from me, again?"

[SOLDIER First]

"She mentioned setting up furniture, Marisa."

Maribelle gestures to the furniture.
"I want you to get the tables and chairs set up. When you're done your rooms should be ready."
With that Maribelle goes inside, presumably to talk to Mr. J.

[SOLDIER First]

Kurushimi stares after Maribelle as she says that, then turns to the door. It takes them a moment to really realize the fact that they can't fit, so (with a series of frankly disturbing cracking and crunching noises) Kurushimi shrinks to a more manageable six or so feet and then walks slowly inside with a single table.

"People can get overly passionate. In terms of long term fighting, it is typically over some resource, or strategic advantage to put a nation ahead of the competition."

{But... people? Hurting each other? I... I don't understand... How could passion lead to something like that?}

Marisa looks at Kurushimi for a moment, then shrugs. She snaps her fingers, and the ape demon reappears. She simply points at the furniture, prompting a withering look from the creature before it starts carrying it inside. Marisa herself sets up a chair in a corner and pulls out a book from... somewhere.

[SOLDIER First]

Kurushimi gives the creature a polite nod when they pass.

"How did you get it to be so compliant this quickly?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Magic. This is my specialty."
