"Where is the Fort your township takes its name from?"

"Iunno. I wasn't here when they named this place."

Mr. Johnson looks around Idly.

"Are there any slaves kept in this country of...whatever this country is named for?"

"I gotta couple o' barmaids and waitstaff, but they aren't here today. I gave 'em the day off."
The bartender then looks at John like he's stupid.
"Slaves? Ya kiddin' me? Down here? No."
The clothes are.....relatively normal. Just cotton shirts and khaki trousers.

"You've built a frontier town without the aid of slavery? I...." John Brown appears to be at a loss for words for once. "....Are there any places nearby that still adhere to the practice of slavery?"

"Fair enough I suppose. Is there like a place for information for new people in town."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Frontier town? Boy, this is one of the biggest towns in this region! Slaves? Maybe in one of the more....unsavoury Traction Cities up north, or maybe somewhere past Witzen to the south. But there ain't no slavery for a hundred miles o' this place. The head honchos up in Queenland wouldn't do it.

If you want information, I suppose you'll have to ask around. The tourist centre ain't fixed yet; we got attacked by some Faunus raiders just a week ago, blew up the place."

"Are they normally a problem around here?"
Johnson leans on the counter. This sounds like a quest.

"Faunus? No. Raiders? Occasionally. If you wanna find 'em, good luck."

"I see. If raiding is a worry then you must have an arms dealer, correct? I feel naked without any grenades or power armor."

"That'd be a bit crazy. Well, speaking of buildings, there's his church. Shame for him he decided to give in to sin and booze or whatever before walking like five minutes. Now, heh, let's just stay riiiight away from there. I dunno, maybe let's just explore the other shop district for a bit?"

"Grenades and power armor? Our last shipment just ran out. Might need a week or two to get some new ones."

"What is the currency around here? Oh, and what's the booze scene like as well?"

"We'll take anything shiny and vaguely money-looking, long as it's actually money and not fakes. As for booze....well, anything that won't kill you and gets you drunk, we might have. Depending on if the dwarves don't raid us- and I mean that figuratively- again."
