Possibly bringing back an old game...
« on: November 03, 2016, 04:51:09 pm »

Sorry for abandoning just about all of my games.
I am considering bringing back/re-doing a game that has been run on here previously.

Wasn't sure if the community had any preference for which one comes back so I'm open to suggestions...

Hey Cryxis is back! It's good to see you!  :D

Personally, I'd prefer if you revived Great River Politics, my short-lived knock-offs didn't do the original justice.

Do you have a list of options? I am not familiar with you and your games.

I shall add a poll I suppose.

Someone tell me if I'm missing one but
-Great River Politics (The politics of several nations situated around a river valley. Fantasy setting)
-Neural Chips (Scifi story. Futuristic setting)
-Starfairing Tale (Another scifi story. Futuristic setting)
-Alone (Left in the middle of a city as a war breaks out, survive. Modern setting)
-Tenebrous Isle (You find yourself stranded on an abandoned Island not sure how you got there or what happened to the now fallen apart island. Early 1900's mystery setting)
-Sanctuary (Explore what remains of civilization many years after a great war tore the world apart. Post-apocalyptic setting)
-The Fall of Man (You are a super soldier, you have no memories from before you woke up, your are left to your own devices as a world war breaks out. Futuristic scifi setting)
-Break of Day (a disease is spreading on the island you reside on. A naval blockade turns the island into a massive quarantine zone. Survive as society starts to fall apart at the seams. Modern, mystic survival setting)
-For Carnissia (Live through the experiences of a soldier drafted into a war similar to world war I. Can your survive the madness? Can you take the pain? World War I/II setting)

Probably missing a few...

Now that I think of it I might reopen two games, one of community choice and one of my own choice. There's a few I want to run again.
Tell me if I'm missing any, poll coming soon.

I would play pretty much all of those.

Great River Politics was vaguely post-apocalyptic, the old threads are worth reading.

By a wide margin FOR CARNISSIA wins, so I will be opening a game for that soon.

As for my choice I will probably open Neural Chips again.

Putting together an opening text for FOR CARNISSIA and a plot to follow, also putting a few things together (revised map, resources, political things, etc) for Great River Politics which will get renamed.

Though I would love to put together a good story for Neural chips I think its a bit unfair to count a tie including a vote from myself. Also I feel that it deserves alot more time than just spare time to put together. That being said it will be brought back but not any time soon.

I will be story boarding or whatever brainstorming for stuff like this is called with some people from my dorm to get things right.

Didn't we get the pilot? Can't we scan his brain?
If we did, +1, but I think they either got scrambled by the tractor beam or got blown out into space.
This is a normal discussion, folks.
