Well yes, but that's part of what made it interesting.

Someone has to be aggressive, and more people (as long as it's not everyone) being aggressive/manipulative makes it more interesting. So long as it's not just "I Toss more Essence than they do and win", but KJP's system is pretty good at preventing that.

Sphere: Oversized Machinery & Conflict
Primary form: He/she takes the form of a soldier, dressed in an ornate yet-no-nosnense officer's uniform. A touch tablet with Mavnon's in-house OS and a rusty rapier are always on her/his person. Two mechanical spheres hover behind him, one faintly blue and the other faintly gold.
Symbol: A towering giant ornate and yer oddly elegant winged mecha.
Description: Backward, forward, backward again. Forward, forward, into oblivion-bless. Up/down, left/right, down once more into heaven-plight.  Forward, backward, forward again. Down, down into ascendance and might. Rise, rise, mortal-fight. Rise, rise, mechanical-blight. The masculine personality of Mavnon is a brilliant if somewhat speech-impaired visionary, the side of Mavnon who knows for a fact what he wants to do and why he'd do it. He is a single-minded and at times reckless, doing all he can to achieve his goal of 'Ascendance'. What this means exactly, is something the persona cannot seemingly explain. He usually lets his feminine counterpart do the talking and is usually stuck deep in the god's psyche, thinking and planning. His favoured offering are barely-functional machines..

Ascendance by my means is the truth of Creation. No path is open beyond mine, for they are false aberrations. Speak not of them in my presence or prepare for incineration, unless you defeat me in war, which would give me...considerations. Friend or foe, come you all, and test me and my ideal in debate and flagellation. The feminine personality is a poet at heart, someone who sees the beauty in all things, be they newborn children or dismembered limbs. She also, interestingly enough, is the one who makes sure that whatever idea the masculine personality comes up with is actually carried through. Having an understanding of social etiquette more than makes up for the masculine persona's disabilities. Her favoured offering is badly-written literature.

Superficially Coal-Powered Wood Mecha: Slow, prone to breakage and somewhat combustionable, the Wood Mecha is powered firstly by stored magic and in a pinch, the blood of the innocent [and only the innocent!]. Still, it looks cool and a wooden mecha is still a feat of engineering. While powered by IB-fuel or magic, coal or charcoal is still needed to give it that 'uumph'.

*IB= Innocent Blood. Guilty Blood (GB), while far less ethically questionable, doesn't get good mileage.
