Mirella walks over to the guards. She takes out her glock and fires a shot through the head of each of them. She then calls Cheiron, states the objective is completed and that there is a live vampire in torpor at the factory. She states that some team mates are in critical condition and dying.

And that gentlemen is how to amputate a blood sucker with a shotgun.

Take a breather, try to regen my wounds however that works.pass out again if nessecery.

You collapse face first on the floor in vampire blood oozing out from the massive chest cavity you gave the vampire.

Spend willpower to overcome shock, try and stabilise self.

You put pressure on your exploded wrist. It just makes it worse. So you pass out to reduce your own blood pressure.

Mirella walks over to the guards. She takes out her glock and fires a shot through the head of each of them. She then calls Cheiron, states the objective is completed and that there is a live vampire in torpor at the factory. She states that some team mates are in critical condition and dying.

Mirella calmly executes the remaining security goons and calls in the mission...

Epilogue:

The Cheiron group is pleased with your work, especially over the capture of a live vampire and the elimination of those plebian upstarts from Union.

The facility was secured by combat and containment teams and the offices were scoured for evidence. Disturbingly, a crpyt network was found in the basement, and it was home to at least one flesh-beast put together by vampire flesh necromancy. Numerous vampire childer sleeping in the chambers below were also captured or killed in their sleep.

The basement of the factory you were in also housed a meat-packing plant. Where expired blood bags were processed into Spam, luncheon and assorted mystery meat sausages with "60% pork" or rather, long pig. There was a human ghoul slave down there who attempted to defend his turf to the last, and was euthanized with bullets. Through the basement, one would find a series of booby trapped trap doors, elevator shafts and ladders leading to underground chambers deeper bellow. Cheiron combat teams are still clearing them out, while maintaining a perimeter.

As for local authorities - in the World of Darkness, police forces usually steer clear of supernatural business unless they feel that they don't have a choice. For the most part, they let vigilantes and private security companies do their thing and stay as far away as possible from the crossfire. Short of breaking the masquerade through citywide destruction or mass rioting, they would be extremely reluctant to intervene. They all would rather go home and live another day.

Politically, the assassination of the hunters from The Union compact has provoked open hostilities with local Union members in the local Chicago Neighbourhood. Canaryville is up in arms, with plebian dissenters from the Union Compact working with allies in the Nightwatch and fanatics from The Long Night to defend their turf against capitalist pigs encroaching on their sphere of influence. Canaryville is where many of the Union live, and is the key to their force projection into the Whiskey Row Industrial area, where they do what they can as hunters to maintain their Vigil. The Union has been provoked into a "shit has hit the fan" mode. And are currently setting up barricades in the streets against all enemies, natural and supernatural.

The Vampire Princes in Chicago are of course extremely pissed that you raided a blood farm. It raises questions as to why the vampires are stockpiling blood as opposed to their usual mode of operation of hunting in the night. Some analysts in Cheiron suggest that "human husbandry" allows them to support a much larger vampire population, and that the princes are building armies. You can also be assured that the Vampire Princes will be looking for you.

Team promotions and Injuries: All survivors of this mission are promoted to Associates of the Cheiron group, the company believes that you are aligned with their interests and look forward to mutually beneficial partnership. As a token of goodwill, Miranda Barthes, "The Silver Fox" of Cheiron is sponsoring state of the art prosthetics for Joe and Sally, Courtesy of Barthes Prosthetics, Subsidiary of The Cheiron Group.

Mirella is unscathed. Sean Patrick is mostly just very badly bruised, and will get better after a good night's sleep.

You are awarded 2 XP basic pay, 3 for successful lethal action, 2 for successful capture of a vampire. Maybe 1 bonus xp for everyone for judicious use of explosives. 8 xp in total for a relatively short mission.

You all get a measly $2,000 of basic pay. Half of the combined $80,000 bounty will be split among the surviving team members. - for $10,000 each. The other half goes into a team fund for acquisition of toys and other team expenses, subject to GM approval. In all you get $12,000 per man to buy the best guns money can get. (It won't help though, you're all doomed anyway.)

A weapons instructor attached to Cheiron Group also hands you an information pamphlet from another universe praising the wonders of explosions.

Your next mission, if you choose to accept it, is to lead Cheiron teams to clear out Union Strongholds in the immediate neighbourhood. You will become thoroughly familiar with the routines of suppressing enemy positions, advancing under fire, flushing enemies from entrenched positions, securing perimeters, and repeating until the territory is secure.

Supernatural elements in the city, are of course, watching the conflict very closely, and will be looking for any chance to escalate it and make it go tits up for those meddling humans.

Joe and Sally need replacement characters while their current ones heal. They can loan money to themselves.

And... Trump and Janeway are recovered from captivity.

And with that I refer you all back to base camp:
