god damn both of you. i went long blades too and found a +2 long sword of elec, then a great sword of holy wrath... so far so good...

then i hit an ice cave in lair. what's inside? exec axe of freezing. and i was about to hit 20 in long blades.

Hm. My current list of swords (at D:11, post-lair)

+7 Singing Sword (+7 double sword that sings and does LoS damage if there are lots of strong enemies)
+0 double sword (I'll probably enchant it up)
+3 demon blade of electrocution
+6 scimitar of flaming (for hydras)
+8 demon blade Leech (vamp, rN+, AC-3, EV-3)
+10 great sword (flame, rC+, MR-, MP+9, Dex+4)

Any suggestions for what to use? I'm tempted to use Leech but the lowered defense could hurt.

vamp isn't going to work against some of the harder enemies (like demons and undead) so you won't have the upside.

Worship Qaz'lal and use the Singing Sword for maximum deafness.

Well Uskayaw basically offers free mass paralysis, mobility, links the enemies' healthbars so they take ALL THE DAMAGE at once, and instagibs a dude if things go on long enough.

She pairs well with literally any melee ever

edit: Also this is going a bit better - 2 runes, hopefully noone managed to win in the 1h 20min I wasted on my first two runs.
