I also kind of wonder how they prevent accidental player on player violence. Guns are easy, sure, you just can't hurt another player if you shoot them. But what if you jumped out at a 'bad guy' with a knife and ran him through when it was actually a black hat player? Sounds like a serious liability risk to me.

I guess the whole mass surveillance thing is how they do it, so if blackhats get too close to one another they get the robots to steer them away from one another. Still seems risky like you say, yeah. Not to mention that's neglecting sex and screening for actual criminals, Hannibal Lecter says that the company has to know its guests very well, so maybe they do know all they need to know? Even so, it really beggars belief that stuff like little Jimmy walking in on a reenactment of the aristocrats hasn't happened. Reminds me a bit of the silliness in evil corporations like Umbrella, like how they create viable human clones, perfect sub-arctic biospheres and other amazing shit that would instantly make them the most revolutionary and profitable company in the world, and they use the tech to wipe out most of their customers

The whole "Hosts" gaining sentience and waking up thing... it's not actually a thing. This is just part of the deeper game, something that is completly normal. The host aren't actually feeling or anything, they just run scenarios that were hidden (by Arnold?) and presumably activated by Ford in one of his random updates noone has control over. They activated it because either the Ed Harris was getting close or it's just something regular that runs all the time but we don't know that yet. It's just something that I thought about because... I don't know, I just had a feeling while watching this episode.

I mean, Ford clearly knows everything. He would totally know that Bernard keeps talking with Dolores in his basement at very least, he could know about Maeve escape (I MEAN DO THEY HAVE NO FUCKING CAMERAS OR WHAT) and so on. The Indian doll that the kid dropped. Some hosts totally know weird things - Hector, the girl.

Maybe we are really imagining things? Maybe it's all just part of fucking game? DOES ARNOLD EVEN EXIST?

Also, is the girl in the intro sequence (the one half-printed on the horse) combat Dolores?

So far what annoys me the most is how they keep moving the robots back and forth between the labs and the park between scenes without any time passing.

As a partial explanation for the jumps between the park and the lab, it's worth noting that

I wonder what the consequences of Combat Dolores going from novice to world-champion gunslinger is, in terms of what the robots are capable of. Has Dolores secretly been practicing (unbeknownst even to herself) for the last 30 years, or has all the knowledge needed been programmed into her muscles and brain by Arnold?
