Kyle walks up to the pair holding a paper. He looks absolutely enthralled with it.

"Dude, seriously, why do you keep bringing up the fact that he's black? He was totally bragging about his record and stuff, that's what the story's about. Whatever, I've got other stuff to do." She starts to walk away before noting Kyle. "Oh, hey, what's up?"

Lacie followed after Bethany, stopping just before Eria. Her gaze drifted downwards, looking at her feet as she spoke.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to feel like you were left out."

Eria looks at Bethany and Lacie and then looks down at the flower in her hands," It's okay... You seemed like you were having more fun together, I've always been an odd duck.." Eria admits shyly playing with the flower twirling it every which way, her cheeks a soft shade of pink.

"You can't deny that you were riding on that fact to fuel your rumors! But fine, if you're just going to ignore me and walk away, go ahead, but if you listen to a single thing I say here, listen to this: You're not going to get any fame spreading rumors about everybody, only infamy, and your paper-thin exact words defense won't save you.

Akbar, strolling through the hallway, notices the conflict and watches silently. After th stocky guy departs, he goes up to the birdgirl.
"Hey, you alright? You're the one who wrote that paper right?"

"Yep! And I'm already receiving threats to my well-being over it, but that's investigative journalism, I guess."
