Imhotep sets up the board, and gives Heather the black pieces, and takes the white pieces for herself. "Well, we'll see how good you are then. Personally, I've never played it. Who goes first?"

It is now the afternoon, and the bell rings for the next class to begin. The next class is Tactics & Problem Solving.

Ashley stands before the class that is slowly filing into their seats.
"Hello class, I am Ashley Davis. I am not your instructor. I am the Teacher's Assistant for this class, however. Just take your seats for now, and the instructor will be with you any moment now. Thank you."
She walks off to a chair at a side desk.
Heather sits with Imhotep in class.

Edwinn takes one of the edge seats and produces a rather deluxe binder from his backpack. After a veritable cacophony of shuffling pockets and zippers opening and closing, Edwinn has within moments readied several sheets of note paper and a brand-new, freshly-sharpened pencil.

"I haven't been this excited to study in years! Ah, yes. Truly, the wisest warrior relies on their mind just as much as their body."

A girl with long white hair and red eyes walks into the common room looking awkward. She looks at the paper in her hand attempting to find classes that haven't even started yet.

Vijaya walks into the classroom and sits down in a desk near the front of the class, sitting with their hands folded politely.

Tuuliki bursts into the room with a flurry of papers, and actually flies into the nearest desk, her signature pen scribbling furiously at a piece of paper.

Aurora (the girl with large raven wings on her back) has returned from immolating a courtyard. She waves at the white-haired girl. "Hi!"

Eria looks a little mystfied by the girl with wings on her back. "Hello," she responds quietly.

"I'm looking for my next class..." she looks behind the girl with wings trying to see the numbers written on the wall.
