"But those interactions are different in essentially every single entity that experiences them, and even differ from case to case in a single individual. Given the exact same conditions you could get two wildly different responses from an individual. Furthermore, you cannot put a concrete number to the variety or intensity of an emotion; one can only get crude approximations at best."

For example, if someone hypothetically changed her own reality to have a more canine anatomy, by say, changing her ears to be wolf ears, could this be undone by magic permanently, or only temporarily?"

Avery gave a small sigh as he glanced back to the bickering. He spoke with his chill and calm voice bearing charismatic words, a hand motioning out in gesticulation as he spoke, "I may just be as ignorant as the next guy here, but magic in itself probably breaks the standard laws of physics that may be considered reasonable. It's hard to argue something that in itself is based off of uncertainty, right?"
