Anthelia nearly scoffs, but stops herself from doing so and instead writes the law in her notes.

Avery took his seat down with a casual movement, a simple composition notebook sliding out of his bag to open up onto his table, a simple ballpoint pen now in his hand as he glanced up to the teacher, listening.

"Hm, It's almost as if he's already said that magic doesn't give a toss about physics."

Both Vijaya and Aurora look deep in thought, the former frowning at their notes and adding more and the latter looking like she was mouthing something to herself and counting on her fingers.

"Hm, It's almost as if he's already said that magic doesn't give a toss about physics."

"Amazing, good joke, 10/10.  But the thing is, there will be constant energy input, so what's magic going to do with it to maintain absolute zero after t positive zero?  Can't reradiate it, can't absorb it, so it must somehow reflect it to avoid a single absolute zero creation event propagating to maximum extent to maintain itself and breaking everything, unless someone has actually done that and it just broke after positive zero..."

Lyle shrugs and takes down a few sparse notes.

"Can you stop trying to overcomplicate the subject when this is the first five minutes of the first day of a basics class?"

"I believe most mundane scientists would have given up long ago attempting to reconcile magic with physics, as irreconcilable as they are."
