Alex nods thoughtfully.

"I suppose I can see where you're coming from, though it's a bit weird that you're talking about humans like they're entirely separate from you. As far as I can see, you're entirely normal, not like the wolfthing or the birdman. Though I do suppose there was that one, um..."

He blushes, probably recalling what happened earlier.

((I thought about pudding something like "Octopi" or "Squid" there, but it wouldn't have made any sense as he doesn't know about Rel's Eldritchn Tentacles.))

[Adragis]

"Which one?"
She seems to ignore the first part of everything he says, y'know, the important bit.

[UXLZ]

His nerves were coming back again, so much for ordinary conversation. Though really, Alex didn't understand why he was acting so vulnerable. In the mundane world he was always calm and in control, as close to perfect as you could expect any person to be, but here... Here his defenses had been totally shattered in the first day, and he was left stuttering like a schoolgirl in love.

"Uh, the, uh, the thing that happened earlier... With us... Earlier... I, I thought I could see something in your eyes... It was... Beautiful."

[Adragis]

"Hm?"
She blinks.
"What was it? Is it still there?"
She turns to him, mild concern showing on her face.

[Kassire]

"I suppose that is a win after all. You from anywhere in particular,  Isaac? I'm a Valkiran through and through, from Hozath, actually."

[UXLZ]

"Hm?"
She blinks.
"What was it? Is it still there?"
She turns to him, mild concern showing on her face.

He shakes his head "I'm not sure what it was" before looking into Relspi's eyes again.
They were extraordinarily beautiful, a brilliant hue of gorgeous viridian green, but did not have the same hypnotic effect he had experienced before... The thing he had glimpsed was no longer there. If it would ever return, he had no idea.

"I can't see it anymore, either... Your eyes are still beautiful without it, though." he added.

God, he was so ANGRY at himself for saying such a ridiculous thing, why was he even letting himself be swayed by that harlot anyway, she wasn't anything spec-
Alex shakes his head to clear the weird unbidden thoughts that had found their was into his head. There was nothing wrong with that.

Acair sees an opportunity to do something good.

Specifically, he grabs Medea by the shoulders and shoves them at Johannes and Isaac.
"Here, my blue-haired friend! Make conversation!"
"Acair, I-"
"Noooooo buts! Make friends! That's what you're here for!"
Before Medea can protest, Acair walks off, leaving her alone with Johannes and Isaac.

[Adragis]

"Thank you!"
She nods.
"Your eyes are beautiful as well."
She sounds awfully matter-of-fact about it.

Akbar walks back up to his dorm. On the way, he happens to pass by Alex and Relspi. He noticeably stops, and stares at Relspi in… Awe? Horror? Confusion? 

He then quickly books it to his dorm room.

Alex took a half stepped back with an expression a mixture of happiness, surprise, and embarrassment. Mostly embarrassment.

"Th-th-thank you."

Quickly aiming to move the topic elsewhere, he randomly throws out another query.

"S-so, what's your favorite song?"

[Adragis]

She looks thoughtful for a moment.
"...I can only remember two."

Tiana walks over to Medea, Johannes, and Isaac, feeling some pity for Medea.
"Hi! I'm Tiana. It's nice to meet all of you people."
She then extends her hand.

Two, two? She had only ever heard, or could remember, a mere two songs?

It was so tragic, music was such a wonderful thing... Alex almost wanted to cry.
He had to rectify it.

"Please come with me."

Grabbing Rel's hand after asking with a genuinely sad expression, he lightly guides her to his room. He'd left his music storage device and earphones there. She had to hear. She deserved to hear more songs.

"Why?"
Her skin is remarkably cold to the touch.
"You haven't told me your favourite song..."

"Why?"

Alex realized he probably should have explained, and turned. His eyes pleaded with, almost begged Relspi to follow.

"Because... I want you to listen to it."

He didn't notice her strange skin temperature.
