Strange throbbing sounds emit from the boys Dormitory. Specifically, Room 1G. They sound like someones banging a bass drum at around 15x faster than normal.

"No, your English is fine! How were the Thunderbird Islands, how was it like growing up there?"

She smiles for what seems like the first time since she arrived. "The Otawita is really nice. The air isn't like the mainland - it is pure, it is honest. I can fly around for hours... Everyone knows each other there, everyone respects each other, but they are also so friendly. The small children laugh when they greet the Wakicuza - that's our leader - and he laughs right back."

She seems to be enjoying thinking about her home.

"Oh, that sounds nice! That kind of reminds me of growing up on the farm, because it was also a really close, tight-knit community, so like everyone knew who was who."
