Isaac smiles, showing off his white teeth, and extending his hand.

"It's a designation listing general statements about my specifications. I am the fourth attempt at creating what amounts to a super soldier using both modern technology and magic, my innate weaponry is variable with a melee focus, I am constructed of a titanium-aluminum alloy, and I am powered using ambient magical fields and chemical energy - in essence the same way most life is."

"I see... that is very interesting." She seems a little overwhelmed with all of that.

[Chevaleresse]

"What about you? Where are you from?"

[Empiricist]

Veikko saunters into the common room, twirling what appears to be a rather old-fashioned cane, one that his steps make abundantly clear he does not need. He stops near Alison.
"Hello there! How's the dorms?"

Relspi looks around for someone else, now she has consolidated a lasting friendship for the centuries.

"Medea."
She robotically lifts her hand and shakes his. She seems cold to the touch.

Alison is fazed briefly by the knight, but she ends up not being THAT weirded out so she just responds to Veikko.
"It was nice, but I don't ask for much. Being able to make a loom was better than I expected, though, I'll say that much."

"Medea. Well, one, that's a beautifully unique name, and two, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Are you cold?"
Isaac's smile turns into a worried expression.

[Empiricist]

"Heh, they're definitely pulling out all the stops here, budget must be real impressive, or maybe magic just is really useful. So, guessing that you were raised knowing how all this works then?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"No."
Medea's flat expression is unchanged.

[Powder Miner]

Alison nods.
"Yeah. We've got a magical tradition up on our little mountain in Aurrennes, and I learned about magic and the world from my mom. Magic isn't anything new to me, I just want to get better at it."

[Sl4cker]

"What about you? Where are you from?"

"I am a Wakinyan, or in English, Thunderbird. I am from the Thunderbird Islands, though I have always known them as the Otawita."

[Projeck37]

"Alright, good. You just felt cold to me, but I guess I'm just warm. So, what is it that you do?"
One would note that Isaac has forgotten to let go of Medea's hand during this exchange.

[Empiricist]

"That'll do it then. Can't say it's the same for me, I just kinda winged it and, guess it worked out well enough ad hoc. So is this all just normal for you? The people here I mean."

"Well, hello! I just wanted to see how you're doing, you know?"
Tiana clicks her tongue.
"Just wondering, who's your roommate?"

"Well, uh... My combat ability is, in fact, physical... and I am a medic anyway. And, yes. I come from... well, I've never actually told anyone this outside of the caverns before, but I guess it's fine here. Basically I come from a cavern underneath Valta where there are zombies and I come from a bunch of knights that fight them."

Tiana now looks quite confused, and the bubbles around are now starting to fly around randomly.
"Sorry, but there's a cavern underneath Valta? With zombies?  Seriously? I'm sorry, but now I'm even more confused than before." "
