Eria nods softly scooting over an making room by the base of the tree, " Sure." She sits awkwardly playing with the string of hair that has escaped her ponytail.

Tsakaka manages to walk back to the common room as well, looking bruised and worse for wear in more ways than one.

Edwinn walks into the common room, backpack in tow. Noticing Tsakaka, he approaches her.

"Hey, I see you made it out of the infirmary. Looks like you've still got a few bruises on you... How are you feeling?"

"I would rather not talk about it." She sits down heavily on a couch, arms crossed.

"Owch."

Edwinn sits down on the same couch, giving Tsakaka a respectful amount of distance.

"If it makes you feel any better, I was rooting for you the whole time, and he only barely won. Plus, I'm gonna kick that guy's ass the next chance I get... In a sparring match, of course."

That guy walks past Edwinn with comedic timing.
"Oh? I'll be sure not to go easy on you."
Jaune sits on the opposite end of Tsakaka's couch.

Meanwhile, Kyle is exploring the stables some more.

Tsakaka glares at Jaune. "I still do not respect you, you know." One might be able to get the feeling that's not entirely true.

Edwinn scoffs and rests his head on the knuckles of one hand, a gesture which showed some exasperation, but mostly amusement.

"Man, you have the best timing. Let's not get this out of hand, though; I should hope you two are satisfied after being sent to the infirmary once, eh?"

Jaune turns to the thunderbird.
"That's just too bad, I feel like I have a deeper connection with you now that I've got a bit of an understanding of what makes you passionate. You're quite proud of your heritage, perhaps you even draw much of your identity from it, and so when someone were to insult an aspect of it like I did it pisses you off to no end. Am I right?"

"Of course. To not honor the past is, to me, an alien concept." She still seems a little tense.

"See, that's something to love about you! You have something to be passionate about, something to focus your potential on. Not like some of this schmuks."
Jaune makes a vague hand gesture.

Edwinn blinks, surprised.

"Huh. You've got some hidden depth, you know that?"

She makes an uncomfortable noise, before sighing. "I thank you, however..." She points at his face dramatically. "You still have not apologized for insulting my culture."

Jaune nods and gets up before wiping off his knees. He then kneels on the floor, his head on his hands and the rest of him in a fettle position.
"I am dreadfully sorry for the insult I have cast upon your culture. If there is anyway that I can repay you for this damage you need only ask."
