"If 'what's good, birdie' can be considered anything BUT a pick-up line, then no, no I don't."

[TCM]

"Course you can't, wisen up pleigh-boi."

[ironsnake345]

"Well pardon me for having never encountered a single person having lived sixteen years in a VERY multicultural nation who used the phrase 'what's good' whenever they WEREN'T flirting with somebody. Also, might I add, that calling a thunderbird 'birdie' isn't exactly the best first impression to make. Would you have preferred I introduce myself to you by saying 'Hey, what up, blackie?'"

[TCM]

"Pardon granted, this time.  You ain't never heard a friendly 'what's good' before? Shiiiieeet pleigh-boi, where you from?"

Tiana hesitantly begins grinding the plant with mortar and pestle.
Anthelia strolls over to Edwinn and Lorenzo.
"What is going on here?"

"I'm from Dapleice, a nation known for only one thing: the many cultures of people who live there. There's seriously nothing else noteworthy about the place besides it being super multicultural. It's a boring place to live."

Anthelia blankly blinks at Edwinn.
"Great. How wonderful."

"Oh, hey. I didn't notice you for a bit there. To answer your question, we're just having a conversation... one which stemmed from this guy's, shall we say, interesting greeting to that girl."

Edwinn indicates Tsakaka.

[TCM]

"Ayyo' that's amazing. You come to this school because you were bored?"

"Yeah, pretty much. I had kinda fallen off my groove when it came to training, and beating the snot out of would-be criminals and the occasional muscular douchebag was starting to lose its charm. I came here for a couple reasons: Boredom, becoming even more badass, and a school which actually teaches me something interesting. ...That is, something interesting that I don't already know."

Anthelia gives a skeptical look to Edwinn.
"Really, now."

[TCM]

"Well good luck finding something new here pleighboi, nothing exciting going on this school. No drinking, no sex, not even a damn football team. If you want to become a better magician by making lil' campfires and singing kumbaya, looks like you came to the right place."

"Buddy, this isn't just about being a magician. I'm enrolled in tactics, hand-to-hand combat, and crafting and enchanting, as well as magic 101, but I hear that's a required class for every freshman. Believe me when I say that learning magic had some appeal to it, but what I came here for was the pursuit of true combat badassery. Which, naturally, includes being able to out-muscle your opponent, out-smart your opponent, and create your own legendary artifact which you take into battle. As far as no drinking and no sex, well I dunno about you, but I for one didn't come here expecting to get smashed before reaching legal drinking age, whilst also spreading love stains all over the place."
