Alex couldn't figure out what had just happened. He was really worried, really concerned, a bit afraid, and then... Nothing?
Why? Why did he feel that way?

In the end he just shakes his head and tries to clear the uneasiness. It must have been a weird potion wafting out from the teacher's private room, or something strange like that.

As noted, Tiana is sitting next to Jason, still wearing her corner-store reading glasses to have a better look at the board. Her desk is somewhat scattered with pens, paper, and highlighters.
Anthelia is still loitering about the common room, now pouring herself some coffee.

Alex finds a seat and prepares to pay attention to the lesson.

After absolutely crushing the dead lift among other exercises, Lorenzo makes his way back to the common room, his grey hoodie absent and and replaced by a blue tank top. He sits upon one of the couches, sweating, his phone still blaring Rap-Rock to a high volume. Lorenzo holds his head, had he been talking to someone on the wait to the gym? Was it one girl or two? One, definitely one, but he can't help shake a certain feeling. It must be post-workout dehydration.

"Oh, okay. I only had two parents, like most people. Did they act like parents are supposed to?"

"I believe so?"

[SOLDIER First]

"I mean, did they teach you stuff."

[Chevaleresse]

"They taught me nearly everything I know."

[SOLDIER First]

"Were they nice to you? Parents are supposed to be nice."

[Chevaleresse]

"Of course. There were some things I was subjected to that were unpleasant, of course, but they had to test my capabilities."

[Twinwolf]

The teacher marks something off on her clipboard. "And that's the attendance done! We'll get into practical stuff in just a minute, but first a question: What do you think of when you think of potions?"

[SOLDIER First]

Lyle raises his hand.
"What kind of stuff? That doesn't sound very good..."

[Chevaleresse]

"Short tests to see my responses to various stimuli, some of them negative. None of them lasting particularly long, and I was given the option to decline."

Acair raises his hand.
"I think of the deadliest poisons! The most wondrous cures! Luck, love and loss, all bottled!"

[Empiricist]

"Chemistry but with more magic."
Veikko's response is unnaturally deadpan, cold even, as if intentionally to contrast Acair, which, judging by his grin, probably is the case.
