Imhotep frowns. "Well, at least it's in the past now. We can start a new life!"

"Right... A new life..."
Heather nods, her frown turns to a smile.
"Thank you, Imhotep. Tell me, is there any preferred nickname for you?"

She smiles. "Well, I don't mind Imhotep, but if you want to call me Seti it would be fine, because my last name is shorter."

Aurora glares at him and levels the hexagonal rod on her arm at him. A beam of plasma lances out at him at high speed; she'd try to sweep the beam after him as he dodged.

"Weights boost your metabolism."

"Seti... Seti and Madi... Madi and Seti... I like that."
Heather nods, with a smile.

Jaune curses as he sidesteps. Time seems to slow as his gauntlet lets out a bright yellow glow through the cracks. Jaune takes up a pitcher's stance as his gauntlet falls away for the time being. His hands behind his back time seems to have stopped as he spits off to the side and winds up the pitch, almighty power radiating from his right arm. And then he throws the ball of energy at sonic speeds as he collapses to the ground, the gauntlet reforming around his arm. Aurora would be hit with... well, it'd feel like a huge sonic baseball just hit her. Because that's what happened. Well, that and Jaune going a little overboard in his attempt to show off.

Aurora attempts to dodge the hit, but too late - she squawks in irritation and pain as the ball impacts her. When it hits, a ragged, uncontrolled burst of flame expands outward from Aurora reflexively as she tries to reassert herself; it looks like she got the wind knocked out of her a bit, if she wasn't exactly down for the count quite yet.

As was previously stated Jaune has collapsed. Apparently, that took a lot out of him.

Aurora, after catching her breath, walks up and prods the man a bit with her control rod. "Are you done already?"

"... Normally that works."
He doesn't make much of an effort to move.

Imhotep giggles. "So are we some sort of unit now?"

"We, Seti and Madi, are a force to be reckoned with!"
Heather holds her closed fist straight up in the air, giggling.

"What was that, anyway?"

"Roulet attack. Normally I use gathered power from bits with linger magic to fuel them due to the power needed but... I left those at base. Kind of explains why that didn'tgo so well..."

Imhotep laughs, and nearly slips in the hot tub. "Hahahahah! You're so silly." She splashes Heather lightly with water.

Tiana looks up from her studying, and goes to grab her reading glasses from her room.
Anthelia continues to sit imperiously on her stool, waiting to be approached.
