"You cannot describe something mathematically if it doesn't obey mathematics."
"But you can't not obey mathematics, because it's descriptive."

It has been determined that Trump is an average unladen swallow travelling northbound at his maximum sustainable speed of -3 Obama-cubits per second in the middle of a class 3 hurricane.

"How do you know they can be described at all?"
"They're generated by electrochemical interactions."

"But those interactions are different in essentially every single entity that experiences them, and even differ from case to case in a single individual. Given the exact same conditions you could get two wildly different responses from an individual. Furthermore, you cannot put a concrete number to the variety or intensity of an emotion; one can only get crude approximations at best."

Kyle is miming shooting himself in the head. This is why he didn't want to be in magic class.
"Fucking pretentious mage bitch. Shut up so we can finish and go do something actually interesting. I fucking hate mages. Wait, I'm a mage technically.... I hate myself."

"I have a less argumentative question," Lunya had finally raised her hand this time, "If magic is not absolute, what about warping reality to make something always true? For example, if someone hypothetically changed her own reality to have a more canine anatomy, by say, changing her ears to be wolf ears, could this be undone by magic permanently, or only temporarily?"

"Vijaya, honestly, emotion is a human construction anyway.

And that's not necessarily falsifying the hypothesis anyway."

"Yes. It has. Unless you'd like to tell me that Reichmann, Crowley, Tezuka and the majority of the magical mainstream literature were all wrong about the origin of magic."

Avery gave a small sigh as he glanced back to the bickering. He spoke with his chill and calm voice bearing charismatic words, a hand motioning out in gesticulation as he spoke, "I may just be as ignorant as the next guy here, but magic in itself probably breaks the standard laws of physics that may be considered reasonable. It's hard to argue something that in itself is based off of uncertainty, right?"

"Do you have evidence for it being a construct and not a natural phenomenon?"
