She smiles ruefully... which looks about the same as all the other smiles.

Tiana puts her hand up, and high-fives Jason, this time making proper contact, hand-to-hand.

Jason smiles, his eyes making eye contact with Tiana for a moment, before lowering to the ground.
"Thanks."

"Well, you're welcome, friend. Anyways, should we get going to the hot tub?"
With that, Tiana starts heading off after Kyle.

She smiles ruefully... which looks about the same as all the other smiles.

"It's not your fault, it's not your fault at all" Alex says immediately, hesitantly patting Relspi's head and smiling at her softly, reassuringly. "You've obviously come from some place without any of the things I've explained to you. Rather than being sorry, try to learn with all your heart!"

What he was saying sounded a bit cheesy even to him, but Alex hoped it would help cheer her up.

Jason follows.

So...

All of those going to the hot tub eventually make it there, hooray!

Jason sits down on the edge of the hot tub, only putting his legs in, moving them back and forth slowly.


Heather is lounging in a chair, reading her book by the hot tub.

Imhotep, being rather faster than Jace, does in fact manage to hit him in the back, and given that she's strong, it gives him pause, too -- but he was tougher than to be anywhere close to taken out of the running yet, which the maille helped with.

With his earlier strategy not working Jace changed to attempting to shoulder rush and hopefully grapple the demigod.
Alison dips a leg in.
"Oh man, that really is hot!"

Tsakaka easily slides in. "Indeed." She doesn't seem to be bothered by the heat too much.

"I will~!"
She nods, decisively. And promptly pats him on the head in return.

"Wonderful, then. So what would you like to learn more about?"

[Adragis]

"Lots of things. But..."
She sighs, although it seems more like an intentional action than a reflex.
"I want to know what your magic does. It breaks the laws everything follows! How exciting~"

There.....seems to be someone already at the hot spring.

Is that....Medea?
Alice sets up at a nearby table, probably near Heather or something.

Jason continues looking mopey with just his legs in the water, shirt still on.

She sighs, although it seems more like an intentional action than a reflex.
"I want to know what your magic does. It breaks the laws everything follows! How exciting~"

Alex points out that basically all magic does that.

"Mine isn't too special, no more than putting your hand through a book. I'm not even sure how it works, but... I'm happy to demonstrate it for you, I suppose. The best way I can explain it, is that it lets me create force at a distance. At the moment it's just like using my hands... But I think that, with practice, I'd even be able to cut things, or pierce them."

As examples, he opens some of the drawers, moves the sheet covers, and taps Relspi on the shoulder without touching any of them.
