Tiana walks over to Medea, Johannes, and Isaac, feeling some pity for Medea.
"Hi! I'm Tiana. It's nice to meet all of you people."
She then extends her hand.

"Medea."
Medea stiffly shakes Tiana's hand, her own hand being cold to the touch.

[Adragis]

"Okay."
She follows him.
"Do you have an instrument up there?"

Tiana continues to shake Medea's hand, although her smile looks a bit plastic now.

"Okay."
She follows him.
"Do you have an instrument up there?"

"No" he said, shaking his head, "No instrument. Something different. Something that lets you keep hundreds of songs stored in a single small device, and play them back at will."

Leading Relspi through the door and letting go of her hand at the entrance, Alex quickly rummages through his personal belongings before pulling the device out, plugging in the earphones, and handing them to her.

"Here, put these in your ears, then wait."

After a few moments he found the song, and hit "play"...

"Oi, calm down. If you keep strugglin' like that, you're not goin' to be able to breathe. And I'm not goin' to let you out if that happens."
The teacher sighs. Anna can feel like she can hardly breathe due to the pressure on her chest.

Anna wheezes, still feebly struggling.

Relspi listens, confused as to the nature of such a small device.

There is a brief silence - although it is not silence, some sort of faint crackle marring the lack of sound. But then, as if only a few paces away, a stringed instrument begins to play. Her eyes widen a little.
The tune is at once melancholy and longing, yet the arrangement of notes has a beauty to it - she does not understand how, as she could easily produce the same series of sounds, yet it makes her remember the village where she was birthed. This is tempered with confusion. Surely this metallic construct cannot replicate sounds with such clarity? She had seen the television screens before, but they were merely a collection of lights, and they had not managed to evoke such emotions in her.

"How does this device work? It is fascinating."
She sways slightly to the music's rhythm: back and forth, like the waves, it reaches peaks and lulls.

Tsakaka stretches quickly, before slowly circling Vijaya as well. Her feet are light as air, quick and flighty. Her spear is continuously pointed seemingly directly at Vijaya's face, though it is still sheathed.

Suddenly, quick as lightning and with little warning, Tsakaka takes flight at the robot, weapon at the ready! It seems she's already attempting to strike the first hit!

Vijaya attempts to dodge sideaways just far enough to avoid the strike -whether they would succeed was questionable- and follows up with a counterattack, putting the spear where Tsakaka would be in a moment.

Alex was overjoyed to see Rel's reaction. It was as if beholding color for the first time.

"It would be extremely complicated to explain in full detail, but simply put it takes a recording of the music, an imprint, stores it, then plays it back to you. Imagine the sound travelling into a bottle and being stored, later released, but the bottle can release the sound it stored infinitely rather than only once."

After the song ends, Alex begins to cycle through some of the music in his device, switching through a massive variety and observing Relspi's reactions, changing when she seemed when she might not enjoy it so much.

"That song was my favorite... You might like these other ones less, or you might like them more. I just hope you find what you like among them."

[Adragis]

She nods again.
"These are all very nice songs. I will need to learn them."
Another nod.

Tiana continues to shake Medea's hand, although her smile looks a bit plastic now.

Medea's face is as stony as always. She lets go after a brief moment, staring at Tiana as if searching for something.

Tiana continues to smile.
"Well, hi then, Medea...?"
She tilts her head, as if she's confused.

Vijaya attempts to dodge sideaways just far enough to avoid the strike -whether they would succeed was questionable- and follows up with a counterattack, putting the spear where Tsakaka would be in a moment.

The attack just barely grazes his side, narrowly missing them. Vijaya's counterattack strikes her just before she can react, and is pushed back a little bit, but perhaps a little less than expected. She floats backwards, preparing herself for the next exchange of blows. "My apologies. That was sloppy."

[Chevaleresse]

Vijaya shakes their head slightly. "The point of this is to improve; there is no need for apologies." Vijaya goes on the offensive this time, leaping into the air and sweeping their weapon horizontally and downward at Tsakaka as if shifted to something closer to a halberd or glaive.

Aine breathes quietly and finishes his meal.

"I suppose that is a win after all. You from anywhere in particular,  Isaac? I'm a Valkiran through and through, from Hozath, actually."

"I'm from West Tetil. I lived there with my sis-- with my foster parents."

Acair sees an opportunity to do something good.

Specifically, he grabs Medea by the shoulders and shoves them at Johannes and Isaac.
"Here, my blue-haired friend! Make conversation!"
"Acair, I-"
"Noooooo buts! Make friends! That's what you're here for!"
Before Medea can protest, Acair walks off, leaving her alone with Johannes and Isaac.

He turns towards the approaching Medea.
"Hey Medea. How was dinner for you?"

Aine breathes quietly and heads over to Anna.
"You should stop struggling."

((Anna isn't around any other PCs. She's in a teacher's office now. Speaking of which...)


The teacher opens the door to his office, and sits Anna in a chair. He sighs, taking a seat at his desk, turning on the lamp, then drinking from his mug. He leans back into his chair.
"So what are we going to do with you, Miss Anna?"
