Kyle is silent as he eats his food. After a few moments he speaks once again.

Heather turns to Aine once again.
"No, I've met one before. Visited my family's home."


"That does s-sound nice... C-Could put one in t-the room..."

Grabbing her plate, Tiana decides to instead move to where Jace is sitting, and begins to eat her meal.
"Hi, Jace. How's the whole going from a knight to a student thing going?"

Aine.....shifts a bit.
"I don't imagine that was pleasant."

"We could, couldn't we? Ah, I can see it now..." Jace's musing (complete with sweeping arm gesture, as he imagined the fireplace in the room) was interrupted by Tiana's arrival. "Oh, hello Tiana. Honestly, right now I'm pretty much being spoiled. This place is downright luxurious."

"I am curious. What were you trying to accomplish when you broke into my home then?"

He pauses, frowning for a moment.
"Med schools's... a ways of, and I'm not sure if I can make it, and I'm a lot better with my magic at this than my hands. Besides, this is, a sort of way into all this supernatural business... a way for me to broaden my horizons and learn how to use my powers properly."
He takes a sip of water, the jovial grin returning.
"And iyou get told you've got magic and the folks in a castle in the sky wanna hear about it, you take it. I, I knew that, if I didn't, I'd probably be wondering 'what if' ever since then. It's not everyday it happens, right?"

Alison grins. "Heh, this all really is way less out of left field for me, though seeing what I've heard of confirmed and getting a chance to travel beyond Aurrennes has been very cool. See, my mom had a whole wandering mage shtick going on in her youth, so she has a lot of stories about the magic world to tell."

"A gentleman. Not too bad at all towards us."


Jason... cowers away behind Jace, as if that's going to keep Tiana from seeing his... "deformities"

"Mmhmm, this place is grand. So, who's the fella sitting next to you, Jace?"
Tiana waves at Jason.
"I'm Tiana. Nice to meet you."

Aine looks to Vijaya
"I had sensed you had....cheated death I suppose...or it was hard to understand really the sensation I felt really I assumed you were in trouble and I was going to rescue you."

Aine blinks at the vampire staring at her.
"Really? That's....They sound very unique."

"Hah, bet they'd blow my mind then, still wrapping my head around how there's proper communities we didn't know about. Yeah, you hear about that sort of stuff in stories, but I always thought in real-life, enough people would blab, or they'd just not bother with it.

So... are you planning on following her footsteps then? Travel the world, weaving spells, sewing together your own little story?"

Heather shrugs apathetically.
Jason blushes, and cowers even more behind Jace.
"I-I-I'm not h-here..."

Jace looks between Tiana and Jason with some concern, before he decides to try and help Jason go through with conversation. "I'm sure you'll be fine, Jason."
"I gotta say, it doesn't sound like a real bad option at all to me -- but I also wouldn't mind kicking a little ass in the Dawnguard, since I'm here."
