"Heh, not gonna find this kind of thing in any old store. Signature magoc, Veikko, signature magic. And, what, are you really planning on going through with the whole doctor routine, then?"

"That must've been more than four hours ago, though. Eat. Even if it's a little."

Kyle nods and leaves. He'd return a few minutes later with a simple steak and some mashed potatoes. He seems to have gotten the steak rare. He stands near Heather looking unsure of what he should do.

"Do I need to tell you every little thing you need to do? Sit, Fae-touched. Tell me your name."
Heather slices a decent bite of steak, and devours it.

Kyle sits down as instructed. As he speaks he starts cutting his food into precise bites.
"I am Kyle ma'am."

Aine quietly turns to look at Heather.
"your a vampire aren't you?"

Vijaya gives a wave back between bites. After swallowing, they pause for a moment to speak. "I wouldn't think that you would want to socialize with me, given our history."

"And here I was getting my hopes up... And nah, I just want sterile stuff because when I become a fascist overlord, I plan on drowning my blade in so much blood, I'll need something to keep the tetanus at bay once it rusts."
He grins and takes a few more bites of his steak.
"I know, I shouldn't let my powers define me, but I like using them to heal, so surgeon's the obvious choice, okay med school and working hours aren't ideal... but I'll live."

"Nice to meet you, Kyle. Though, I prefer calling you Fae-touched, if you don't mind."
Heather turns her attention towards Aine.
"What makes you think that?"

"I suppose it could be worse. You could call me a changeling."
Kyle chuckles a little. The he returns to a serious face. Probably doesn't like being called a changeling.

Aine shrugs at Vijaya
"it's not bad i mean you couldn't have killed me and it was all a mistake at time so it's all forgiven."

"Nice to meet you, Kyle. Though, I prefer calling you Fae-touched, if you don't mind."
Heather turns her attention towards Aine.
"What makes you think that?"

"I was friends with a vampire and you seem like one to me... got that kinda feeling about you."

"I wouldn't confuse you for one of those horrors, Fae-touched."
Heather sighs, turning to Aine again.
"Yes, I am an Alkedama. It isn't the hardest thing to figure out. I fit all of the racial profiles."

Alison raises an eyebrow at how exactly detailed his macabre joke is, but replies anyway. "Well okay... gotta ask though, if you just wanna become a surgeon, why come to Twilight and not, you know, med school?"

Meanwhile, Jace leans backwards in his chair, his legs on the underside of the table to keep him from falling, shoveling a bite of potato into his mouth. "You know what would have me in total bliss?" Jace muttered to Jason. "A fireplace. A big, crackling fireplace. Things'd pretty much be completely perfect."
