Not really. The main problem I have is that presumably the way the telekinesis works is identical to the way my character's works. Something like creating small bubbles of antigravity would be fine, using concentrated, focused gusts of wind to manipulate objects would be too. The problem is that it's the exact same power.

His eyes are a deep blue hue and his hair is dark and trimmed neatly to a low cut; he speaks in an Erribic accent and is a practicing Muslim who is still coming to terms with the apparent existence of magic.
Short History: Before attending the Twilight Academy, Rashid was the son of the Kaliph; he attended a school and enjoyed exploring the deserts in a jeep. But one day, his jeep fell into a sinkhole that seemed bottomless, taking him into the sands itself. There he heard voices, sudden beings now in his sight speaking to him as his innate magic sparked. With a panic, he used the sands and guided himself out, the earth bending to his will. I know, but then IDK what religions exist in this world, so Islam might not be a thing, or Christianity, or like Hinduism, or a lot of stuff basically. *shrugs*
