@Imic. My character already has Telekinesis as his power, so unless you really want to use it, would you please try to figure out something else you'd like to play around with (or focus on teleportation), or at least have it be developed later into the story as a tertiary ability rather than a primary one?

I was indeed going to focus on teleportation, but be able to have various instruments and books floating around my head at all times.

If that was the case, and you didn't intend on swapping out those books and instruments for others relatively often, it seems like it would be a better idea to have the floating be an ability/enchantment of the objects themselves rather than an ability of your character. That also lets the teleportation be more powerful.
