I request the use of the space behind the Food Storage area for a town hall.

Define 'behind', because with the constraints we are working with, we can only build 3 blocks in the direction fo the Food Storage from the center.

Edit: Looked at it, your sign is 1 row past the constrants.

Edit2: Tree portion is now at the constraint limits as well.

Edit3: Gwolf, you better not be making a house inside the East pillar.  We're working with the regulation of everything but pillars, docks, and bridges must be at least 10 blocks above or below the ocean floor.

Oh, I thought it had to be within, sorry, I'll move it up when I get on tomorrow. Sorry!

If we did, +1, but I think they either got scrambled by the tractor beam or got blown out into space.

When I made the food stockpile building I made it a little extravagant-looking for a warehouse. Somebody can repurpose it if they want to build another food stockpile elsewhere.

EDIT: The map on the Devoted site has coordinates, but nothing looks familiar and when I go to the coords of our base it's a sandy island instead. Is their map just wrong? Prior map? Or am I doing something wrong?

I think the item frame clock should be moved to a clock tower on it, but otherwise it looks good.

Okay, I decided to attempt to see how much could be built from the chopped down logs from one of the large trees on our north-west claim that is being converted over to a mine, and long story short we now have a bridge connecting the Rig to that area, with a few resources left over to start a connection to the southern penninsula/Oak Island with a bridge from the Southern docks.

Those trees are big and pontoon bridges are efficient.

Edit:
Quote from: Proposed Non-Aggression Treaty to be sent to New Ireland, Big Block, and Persia, individually
This agreement states that the signatory nations of this treaty will not strike upon any other signatory nation in any manner.  Any military attack renders this treaty void.

Borders are to be recognized as formally open for all trade interactions between the signatory nations for the purposes of trade.  A road is to be established between the capitals of the nations as soon as possible, with each nation taking responsibility for the portion of the road within their borders.

Thoughts on where the wording could be improved?

sounds good.

Also, small request fro mining site: When you chop trees, leave stumps sticking up. Looks cooler. Enviromental destruction and all.

Does anyone know where to find gravel?

I agree. Unless you're looking for legalese, there's not much to alter.
By the way, I'm pretty sure shallow lakes/ponds have lots of gravel.

People of the Twelfth Bay,

I am happy to announce that Persia has signed the Non-Agression pact.  Negotiations are currently underway upon the matter of the second treaty about the matter of linking the capitals via roads, though I believe that should be settled soon.

There is another matter I would like to bring to the attention of this assembly.  At the bridge ends on the mainland territories we own, should we establish small areas of settlement to serve as trading outposts, and, in the case of the North-Western Holdings, storage buildings for cobblestone and pickaxes for the mine, and a small barracks to act as temporary spawn points for people working in the areas?  These areas would not include permanent residencies, all of those being upon the Rig, but some hotels for visiting individuals could be constructed, as an example.  What is the opinion upon this?

I think I might build some stuff at the mine, when I finish my house.

What is the best way to get wool/string?

To the People of the Twelfth Bay,

We are an upcoming charity group (still in the process of setting up our HQ -- we've almost got one sector done, work is slow due to schedule issues) and have been consulted about providing labor for assisting with a road network. Is there anywhere we can help with your roads? Any unfinished roads we could keep plodding along into the sea?

We do not have a need right now, but I am hammering out a bridge agreement with Big Brick and New Ireland that may result in a future need on that front.  Until then, I might reccommend you look at the bridges we have roughly between 4817, 1873 to 4817, 2078, and roughly between 4817, 1867 to 4665, 1867, as we have come up with one with a quite long type that looks nice, in my opinion, that grants a fairly long connection from just one of the large jungle wood-oak wood trees, which seem to be frequent upon your island.

Some skeletal horses were swimming just off the Rig to the SE. I was boating past and lightning struck them, spawning a bunch of skeletons and skeletal horse archers with magic bows.

Needless to say, I was ill-equipped to destroy them and I'm lucky I didn't sink the boat when I crapped myself.

They can hit you if you're behind the food stockpile.

EDIT: One of them wandered into a boat and I took him out. Somehow a second skeleton was up on the tree deck, and I got him too. Did he spawn up there, or make it up the stairs?

Also did some stone cookin' and built up the central tower. Does anybody know a way to travel more quickly upward? Eventually getting around this place is going to get slow.

Stopped by for a visit, looks pretty nice. I've been living in Chanada but now that Bay12 has a presence here I may try to move down permanently. Things have been weird up there lately.
