Alternative Danger Room Uses

So, Giants and Cyclopses and the like can learn, albeit slowly.

Would a danger room setup surrounding a chained-up cyclops work to eventually train one into some kind of enormous kung-fu killing machine?

I believe so. I'm pretty sure I've read accounts of people who have used this concept to train goblins up to legendary armor/shield/dodge before letting them loose in a fortress arena.

I have captured multiple giants/cyclopses and I need to set them loose on some visitors.

I will report back on the effectiveness.
