You can also combine efforts as a team... like if trump eggs the mob on to rush a police barricade, having more instigators in the crowd would make it more effective.

Mobs are dangerous you want to keep them pointed at the enemy, and you don't want their mood to break or turn on you.

Sialia advised me to push this along to the action, since that's what people would enjoy...

Keep my shotgun out of sight of the officers and follow the mob in the truck.

Just keep riding in the truck, following the mob. The rifle stays in the bag.

Re-equip my AR-15 and run up to follow Trump.

Trump, Sean and Janeway go north and turn east at East Division Street towards the Police Station. The whole throng advances until they are about 100 metres away from a couple of patrol cars blocking the road with a cordon of about 10 officers. 5 of them have those feeble little plastic riot shields. The rest have pistols and shotguns. You can't hear them over the shouting, but you think they want you to disperse and go home. The truck with Sean and Janeway are just slightly behind the body of the riot.

Matthew runs back towards Trump and loses himself in the mob.

Vincent follows Dr. Cullen, signalling for the others in the hospital to follow. The fact there is no medical emergency in the unit (the PA system has not declared a code) means this is a matter of occurrence outside of the hospital. Glancing at the time Vincent realises it's been just about enough time for the rest of the reckless party to cause trouble. Vincent knows that by following Carlisle they will soon find the rest of the party.

Follow this man, surely he MUST be a vampire!  Try to stay out of sight and far back enough to avoid being heard.

Doctor Cullen leaves the hospital... and then RUNS eastwards towards East Division street. Yea he RUNS - not drives, nor uses any vehicle, but runs like a marathon runner on an overdose of steroids. (He's only slightly faster than most normal people)

You trot along, lugging your gear, trying to keep up with him. It's only about a kilometer from the Hospital to the Cullen house.

Janeway pokes Sean Patrick a little too hard in the ribs.
"I honestly don't want to get in a shootout with the police right now, and methinks the reptilian can handle it from here. You coming, love?"

Dismount and casually walk north up one of those side streets to Elterich Avenue. Then walk east until I'm directly north of the Cullen house, and find some bushes to hide in, and unpack my rifle. Finally, watch the house to see if anyone enters or exits.

Vincent breaks into a run, pursuing Dr. Cullen and expecting the others will follow. Clearly he's a target at this point, better to keep him segregated from wherever he is trying to be. Vincent pulls out his glock, fires. At worst it gets his attention. Easier to fight them segregated from their friends, but Vincent is aware the doctor may simply keep running regardless of the fire. He tries to keep pace.

((Disclaimer: None of the pink views are endorsed by syvarris.  Any resemblances to persons real or imagined is entirely perceived.))

"Wow, do you hear that folks?  Do you hear that?  So many vampires are invading this country that there's some right under our noses.  "Cullen" what a name, who would keep that name?  It's an embarassment, but you can't really embarrass someone named Cullen, can you?  No you can't, they're unbelievable, these disgusting slobs, who invited them?  I didn't.  You didn't.  They just came in uninvited into OUR country, thinking that nobody would mind a bunch of total freaks coming into our town, taking our blood, taking our JOBS!  It's sad, just sad, it's almost like they were right, imagine that, you know what they used to do to people like that?  They wouldn't be sticking around here, let me tell you, they'd be out of here quick.  It's because of our leaders--lightweights like Obama and Crooked Hillary, they keep people weak, because they don't want this country to be great again.  If terrorists blow up schools, they have to be 'politically correct', they never fight back, they just let people die, it's because they're weak losers.  But not me, I'm tough, I'm strong, I'm a winner, everyone knows it, that's why they're afraid of me, and these Cullens?  They're afraid too, they know I won't let them stay here, they know I'm dangerous.  It's because they're terrible, believe me folks, I've heard such terrible things about them, just a couple days ago I got this phone call, they were worried about these bad vampires all over the place, everywhere, and they told me something, I couldn't believe it but they did, they said there's a reason all of them look the same, you never see them with other people, the women look like the men, the men like the women, it's because they don't marry outside of their family.  It's disgusting, horrible, one of the Cullens looks at his sister and says 'that's my wife', it's unbelievable folks.  How can we let them stay here?  And then they take a good, beautiful person and seduce her, just make her as ugly as them?  It's obvious what they're trying, they're trying to corrupt out nation, our PEOPLE, but we won't let them, will we folks?  No, we're tough Americans, very very tough, we've got the second amendment for a reason, don't we?  We're gonna go over there, and we're going to remove those Cullens, they're just horrible."

Trump continues spewing similar speech seemingly without end, as if his mouth is a geyser of auditory sewage.  He leads his enraged mob down the road until they're stopped by the tiny local police department, which finally shuts him up for several glorious seconds.  Seemingly stumped, Trump gives a single *sniff*, before launching right into yet more screams:

"What are you doing?  I can't believe this, has our nation really become so corrupt that even the police are protecting the terrorists?  You're supposed to protect the people of this country, not those disgusting wastes of space!  You see all these people behind me?  They're mad at how bad a job you've done, letting these illegal vampires just come into our towns, our cities, let them corrupt us from the inside, they're doing your job, and then you're trying to stop them?!  It's sad, you should be tough, you should be kicking out those vampires yourselves, you should be leading the people, showing them how strong this country is!  The Cullens are monsters, vampires, just monstrous vampires, how can you be HERE and not fighting them back, protecting the people from them?  That's your job, if Obama wasn't a vampire he'd have fired you all already, believe me!  If this is how our police are acting, I'll have to fire all of you myself when I become president, because I'm a winner, I won't allow such weak police to go out of control and let every dangerous loser into our country!  My police would be strong, they would be successful, they'd be getting rid of the Cullens, they'd be getting rid of all the others too, zero tolerance, that's how great they'd be.  And only nine officers?  That's just sad, let me tell you, nobody's going to respect nine officers, I would have lots of police, the police would be tremendous, just huge, everyone would know how strong America's police are, they would be like an army, and they would actually protect our country from these frauds, these Cullens, these vampires!"

Manipulate the police into joining the mob.  If that fails, that speech should do a good enough job of manipulating the mob into taking out the police.  Don't lead the charge though.

Upon Vincent open firing, Joe unslung his shotgun from inside his trench coat.  Wait until they got closer.

Will process this once I get setup in school.

As a side note: Hunters/Inquisitors are expected to be self-sustaining through loot! The pay is meant to be lousy. Loot > salaries. It's all about re-appropriating assets for a greater good.

The Inquisition itself sees larceny as their right to commandeer the property of others for their higher cause. (and if you get too good at doing it, they might even demand a cut tithe)

((*cough* there's a lovely lawyer's office right next to the police station that might become collateral damage in the chaos.))

Manipulate the police into joining the mob.  If that fails, that speech should do a good enough job of manipulating the mob into taking out the police.  Don't lead the charge though.

Trump tries to manipulate the police into deserting their post to join the rioters. (difficulty 10) He is also opposed by some bloke of a sheriff named Charlie who is going on about "THAT"S MY DAUGHTER THEY"RE TALKING ABOUT". However he rolls manipulation + leadership on this one for 7 dice. Charlie is rolling his own charisma + empathy to "knock sense into people" for only 2 dice.

Trump scores 0 successes, but Charlie scores 2. The police are sticking with their He rolls manipulation + leadership at only a difficulty of 7. He scores 3 successes. And the line surges forward to give the police a good thumping.

The police force is unwilling to fire on their own townsfolk. So they honor-brawl it like heroes using shields, batons and fists. They get flattened quite promptly.

The road to Cullen house lies open. You spot Charlie running away, presumably yelling to warn the Cullens that you're coming.

Janeway pokes Sean Patrick a little too hard in the ribs.
"I honestly don't want to get in a shootout with the police right now, and methinks the reptilian can handle it from here. You coming, love?"

Follow Jeanway, set up across the street from her also in some bushes.

Sean and Jeanway dismount and take a detour: Going north up N Camas Ave, then eastwards through Elterich Ave until they hit Maple Ave.

The view to the Cullen house is obstructed. And it's still 100m away at least.

Vincent breaks into a run, pursuing Dr. Cullen and expecting the others will follow. Clearly he's a target at this point, better to keep him segregated from wherever he is trying to be. Upon Vincent open firing, Joe unslung his shotgun from inside his trench coat.  Wait until they got closer.

Vincent Pursues Dr Cullen and shoots at him. Dr Cullen gains another 6 metres on Vincent in the Pursuit.

Vincent then shoots at Dr Cullen. Dr Cullen is hit square in the back by a 9mm Pistol. The doctor reflexively rolls stamina to absorb the damage. He negates 2 points of damage. But still takes 2 damage. His health is reduced to 0 from 2, but he is still unhampered by injury.

He turns and snarls, baring glistening white fangs. His eyes change to a bloodshot red. Yet he manages to control the tone of his voice:

"I don't want violence, but I will do what I must to protect my family."

Doctor Cullen also reflexively sends some of his precious vitae to his wound, and begins regenerating almost immediately.

Also, declare any willpower expenditure in combat. They are almost like fate in 40k. They give +2 dice to any roll. Usually, you use them for defense, unless you're making an attack that can't be roll to dodged, like when mutually locked in a clinch or weapon bind.
