You're in orbit.

Didn't we get the pilot? Can't we scan his brain?
If we did, +1, but I think they either got scrambled by the tractor beam or got blown out into space.

Do it! Even if the cockpit is stronger than our tractor beam, the squishie... beige squishy thing may get liquefied against the cockpit!

And even if it doesn't, it'll be rendered unable to manipulate the controls! Leaving us with a fine target.

If we are in orbit, orientate them upwards. They are in an interceptor, not a space plane. All we need to do is put a single hole in the thing and they are screwed!

Spoiler: Dice (click to show/hide)
You repeatedly engage the tractor beams, going in pulses. The many sudden stops and starts of their engines seem to be too much for the pilots, and the engines fall silent. Once the shaking has ended, you see lights in the cockpit flicker. Then, for but a second, an inferno erupts from the rear side, quickly silenced by the vacuum. Despite the rear's utter destruction, the front of the craft is somewhat more salvageable. The wreckage is pulled up into the depressurized Recieval Zone, to study. However, you still have repairs to contend with.

The combat system works for me.

Study the interceptor systems to gain an idea of how hyoomans program them. Maybe we can make a system jamming ray/emitter

Nice and simple, makes sense at this stage, while we're still just one lone ship.

Do we have any self-repair systems for our ship?  Any supplies needed from Earth to fix the breaches?

Combat system's fine.

Okay, let's analyze the interceptor's systems, then use the metal to repair our own ship.

Afterwards, we can do some work on the Psion. The problem with its lack of potency is that it's omnidirectional. Let's use the Biogen and create a sort of focusing organ for the Psion, allowing it to concentrate its emotional projection into a wave or beam. Then add another organ that lets us control it, including its emotions. Then abduct some myooohs for biomass, and create a sort of giant spider body for it. Be sure to make the core around its brainblob extra tough, so that even if the external body dies, we can retrieve the brain.

If he's in space, get him and try it anyway. Maybe we can bring him back to life, or clone him and implant the brain...

First scans tell you he died from the engines exploding. You doubt there's much left.

I think this is sigworthy, if only for out-of-context wut. Mind if I do so?
