Doublepost to bump mugs for USEC. I decided to challenge myself by only using parts and colors from FE8, which I normally don't use because they don't really mesh with FE6/7 parts and also I don't like the art style as much... but on the other hand, it meant I wouldn't be retreading anything I'd done previously. IC thread is up. For now it's going to be roleplay until Tir finishes her stuff, then probably a bit more roleplay, then encounter 1. Hopefully it's an interesting enough start.

Now, the mysteriously reserved post #2 is because I'm considering putting all the party sheets, world info and stuff (that would normally be in the OOC) there as well. Do you think that sounds reasonable?

Oh right, if you need to know how it's "normally" looked upon (shame on you you peer-pressured fool =P) in this world, Dark Magic is basically how it tends to be. It's generally (individual regions might differ) understood that the magic itself isn't inherently super duper evil, but it has been the typical go-to magic for power-hungry people and so forth, so it's still stigmatized a decent amount. You won't get people trying to lynch you in a mob (probably), but if they know about it you might get funny looks, refused service "get out of our towns", so on and so forth.

But once again, WorldChangingEvent^TM might shake that up a bit, though in this case the PC's prior experiences do actually matter so I should have been more clear on things like that.
