Ruleset is still 1.3 with this homebrew sheet which I'm pretty sure is a bastardization of Sword/Glow/Soly's/Maybe a few of my own changes, but it's been so long I can't remember. (Homebrew may be subject to change.)

WHERE THE BOLLOCKS IS ALL THE SETTING INFO!?

As the astute reader may have noticed, there isn't any setting info. No lore, no world map, no list of cities/regions or a huge conflict to kick everything off. Well, there's a fairly simple reason for that. During the first couple of chapters, there will be a huge world-altering event rendering that mostly but admittedly not totally irrelevant, though we'll get to what makes it not totally irrelevant when the time comes.

Identity of the Players

At least, that's what the flyer said. Heading to the address listed just outside the city all you could see was a somber looking man outside the front of a modest villa, shooing the occasional enquirer away. It didn't look like many more people had been interested in the employment opportunity, and the gatekeeper seemed awfully picky anyway. The thought that you were just wasting your time made its way into your head, but you decide to at least go check. Surprisingly, after taking one look at you he waves you in without a second glance, immediately into a room with a large table and several others already sitting down. You notice that one of the girls looks vaguely like the silly little winking caricature that you had seen earlier. Was she the one who had put out the request? Taking a seat with the others you decide to wait and see what would happen.

Bio:
Winston is the youngest son of the Merick family, a noble lineage that’s been ruling a decent-size town nearby to the one in which our heroes begin for many years. Winston has 4 older brothers and 2 sisters, and competes often with them.

As a young boy, Winston most often competed with his oldest sister Margaret (the second oldest sibling), and generally in a friendly tone. She was hardly a “ladylike” noblewoman, more interested in the art of combat than the arts of sewing or tea-making. This led to Winston’s own interest in the same, and he took to the lance rather well (although he couldn’t ride a horse for the life of him).

Winston had been travelling for a while at the time he saw the advertisement. He responded for a couple reasons. Firstly: It’s something to do. Secondly: As one with noble blood, he simply must help a lady in need. Thirdly: He quite fancies the prospect of earning money for himself, rather than simply using his family’s money.

Enjald is a WAR GOD INCARNATE!!

Or so would he like to be. He is a son of a shepherd girl and unknown, but dashing young noble that one time chanced upon the young farm girl and took her maidenhead in a forest glade, under a star-lit night sky. Nine months later, Enjald was born. The noble left the night after Enj's conception, so she gave him the name of Tykos, Enjald's grandfather.

Since young age Enjald was loud, obnoxious and hot-tempered. But by the gods, he turned into a kettle of disaster when he grew up. He began making trouble with boys who tried to look strange at him, and then he beaten them into a pulp. He would venture with the woodcutters into the forest to cut wood, but end up chasing (or being chased) by wolves or angry boars.

Few years passed and he became member of the militia. Of course during his tenure as proud defender of the village, he had several mighty successes; he beaten up Rob and his gang of larder raiders, he also single-handedly killed a small bear that was chasing after few sheep of the Old Nikor. Then he saved the life of a girl that was harassed by a drunken merchant.

Currently, Enjald is trying to do even MORE GLORIOUS DEEDS, and he has a plan! He heard that many people became nobles, and what's better than to seek fame in noble circles? Therefore, he is wandering around, searching for a noble's entourage to join, and in their name, set out and murder trolls, vampires, demons, dragons and deities, so that everyone, one day, shall hear of him - Enjald of Tykos, the Greatest Warrior Ever!!

Just make stuff up or something when it comes to lore. As I mentioned in the PM I didn't send to you because I'd already confirmed your interest, within the first couple of chapters there's going to be a massive world-altering event that will change things up quite a lot. I'm not even going to bother making a (world) map yet. No cities, no geography, no regions. Do what you want, and run it by me, and we'll see if it's any good.

I don't remember being a part of the previous game but I wanted to join anyways so this is a pleasant surprise. However I have no idea what to do for a class/character/whatever. Any suggestions? Nothing is catching my eye at the moment, so I'm open to anything.

The lord will fill any outstanding necessary roles, so do whatever you feel like. Perhaps a Bounty Hunter? Thus far Gig will be making a mage, Hasp has a fighter, and I'm fairly certain SC is going Troub->Valkyrie.

Finding yourselves seated around a table, the pretty young lady at its head rises to speak. This is whom you have come to see.

: "Now that everyone looks ready, I suppose we should get underway. As you may already know, I am Anaiel Elizabeth Lavendia, and-ohhh, I see the looks on your faces already. My name? Silly, I know. Blame my father, the nutty old fool wanted a daughter like an angel so he named me after one, ha, and look at how it turned out. Still, it could have been far worse, and at the very least it's pretty. Feel free to call my 'Liz. But I forget myself, you aren't all here to hear me ramble on about ancient and irrelevant family history, I'm sure you're wanting to know about the offer I have extended to all of you."

: "Well, it's simple, really. I just need you to protect me and help me when necessary, and in return I offer you something akin to a new start on life, or a chance to rise above wherever your birth may have placed you. Such things do not matter to me, only your skills. If you end up changing your mind you'll be paid and sent on your way, so think of it as a mundane contract job with the potential for far more."

"Oh, not that I'l accept any evilness or unkindness. If you do something bad out of sheer malice you'll be kicked out or worse without a thought, then again you've all already been vetted thoroughly so it won't be a problem, isn't that right Sebastian?"

The chipper lady's rather dour faced servant seems to respond somewhat reluctantly, although whether it's because he'd prefer to say nothing or because he was intently considering her question you aren't really sure.

"Yes, milady."

"Sebastian is so very good at his job, so if he says it's so then that's good enough for me! Before working for father he used to answer directly to a queen, you know! He can do absolutely anything, it's amazing, sometimes I wonder if he's some sort of five thousand year old demon. One time there was a cat caught in an enormous tree and using nothing but a plank of wood and a small piece of string, he..."

Her rambling stories go on for quite some time, and by the butler's various reactions to the assorted claims of his brilliance you can't help but doubt their veracity. Still, all things must come to an end, and eventually she seems to catch herself.

"Hahaha, it looks like I've lost myself again. I'd best go and prepare for tomorrow. Remember that we leave for dawn and make sure to rest."

Appearing wholly unrepentant for her ramblings and still sizzling with energy, Anaiel departs, her servant soon following after. You are left alone with only a table of food that is neither bad 'nor extravagant and each other, wondering what the coming days might bring.

I'll think about a Bounty Hunter. Not very strongly though. I'm not the biggest fan of split STR/MAG classes. I suppose that I could just play them as straight one or the other but eh... _{Also: Inb4 Anaiel Elizabeth Lavendia is actually an angel or some other kind of supernatural being.}

Uh, her closed eye sprite could use some work. It essentially looks like her bottom eyelid is the one closing as opposed to her top lid if that makes sense?
