It's a tense and silent ride down into the Class Trial room. Nobody dares to speak for fear of breaking the fragile silence of peace amongst all of you. Down, down down, you seem to descend, far farther than you would have thought possible in a space station. Just what is this thing?

Steel rebar and sheet metal flies past you with every second, as you descend into the depths of Periapsis. Your school. A high school of Hope... A high school of Despair. The smell of life... the smell of death. The burning bright of Hope... and the consumptive darkness of Despair. A deadly school life... and a deadly...

CLASS TRIAL!
ALL RISE!

You emerge into a room decorated lavishly, like a courtroom. However, instead of a judges bench, there's a ring of mahogany, with a series of indents all around it's perimeter, permitting one indent for each student. On the front of the thick wooden bar, one for each indent, is the name of one student engraved in a gold plaque.

You notice that Hideaki is not among you, nor is he here. Instead, a single, road-sign like portrait frame stands solemnly in his spot. A violent pink "X" crosses over his face.

You have to turn away, even as you each sidle into your own positions in the ring.

And in the sixteenth indent, nobody and no sign stands. Instead, pushed further away, there's a throne-like chair, high and proud, presiding over the whole class. Monokuma sits in the chair, grinning fiercely as always. In one hand he holds a judges gavel, while the other, empty, raps ceaselessly on the arm of his great seat.

"Ahem. Please allow me to explain the rules of the Class Trial!..."

Rule #1: The class Trial will only last for 9 days Realltime (As Trial #1's poll cannot be reset, there will be a second poll.). At that point in time, whoever has the highest number of votes will be selected as the Blackened!

Rule #2: If the Blackened is not the person selected, the class will be executed.

Rule #3: If the Blackened is successfully chosen, then only they will be executed.

Rule #4: Students may change their votes at any time, until the 4 day trial period is up. However, at that time, the vote is locked in, so choose carefully!

Rule #5: Students may abstain from voting. However, if the entire class abstains from voting, then the blackened will be permitted to graduate, and the Class will be executed!

Rule #6: Class Truth Bullets and Personal Truth Bullets can be confirmed by Monokuma! Statements that are not Class Truth Bullets or Personal Truth Bullets can be countered at any time, however, and cannot be confirmed by Monokuma!

Rule #7: Monokuma will never lie while acting as a judge, or confirming a Truth Bullet.

Rule #8: Physical Violence in the courtroom will not be permitted! Any individual using physical violence against another Student will be Executed!

Rule #9: After the trial is over, a brief period will permit the Blackened to speak with his/her Ex-classmates. Afterwards, executions will take place!

Rule #10: Interference with the Executions is not permitted, and any Student attempting to interfere with the executions will be placed in DETENTION.

Rule #11: Monokuma may add rules at any time, and may retract rules at any time, but must notify the class of the rule being added or retracted immediately.

 sat up on the bed: The body is resting on the bed in the dorm room.
 nailed to the wall: The corpse's hands have been nailed to the wall behind him, above his head.
Bag: Someone has placed a bag over the head of the corpse and tied it shut with a Gordian Knot. It seems to be impossible to remove the bag.
large bloodstain: The corpse is bleeding profusely. Blood has spilled all over his front, making it difficult to figure out where it all came from at a glance.
 message written in blood: There's a message written on the wall that says "Sasha" in blood. Could this be the last dying hope of a murder victim of the Ultimate Hero?!
Posters: There are a lot of posters in the room of a engineering nature. Could this be a clue as to the identity of the victim?
no blood: There doesn't seem to be any blood on the floor. Does this suggest the victim was killed while in bed?
MONOKUMA FILE #2:The Victim is unknown! Estimated time of death is 11 PM! The victim appears to have died due to severe trauma owing to a gunshot. The location of the death was in Dorm #013. Do your best to find the perpetrator!
Body Condition: The body is smooth and has no scars on it.
Rug Cleaners: A pair of rug cleaners sits in the corner of the crime scene. They seem to have cleaned up a lot of blood. They're also set to activate at midnight on the dot.
Fingers: The two first fingers on the bodies right hand are stained with blood. Does this mean he really did write the message?!
Gun: The grip of the pistol is smeared with blood from where the killer must have held it. Pink-handed evidence!
 Bullets: There were fourteen bullets left in the gun.
Pedro's Account: According to Pedro, he's been in the bathroom sick since 4 AM. Prior to that, he didn't see anything.
Dani's Account: Dani has told you that she broke into Sasha's room just after midnight, to find the gun was already missing. Whoever stole it must have done it before Midnight...

Spoiler: Color Explainations (click to show/hide)

 Bold and Colored Names such as "Grimm Castle" or "Sasha Viola" are character markers, that indicate who is speaking the next line of dialogue, or who is the focus of the next action.
Bolded Sandy Brown Dialogue is a weak point. Some of these may be targeted by Truth Bullets, but some are dummies that are true. You do not need a weak point to target a truth bullet, but they help to denote Non-stop Debates, and dialogue targeted by a truth bullet that is not a weak point may weaken your position, even if you are correct.
Purple Text is White Noise. It is meant to represent the inane mutterings, shouts, or tangents other students are taking. White noise will grow as the debate moves laterally; if no progress is made in the case, white noise can even begin to cover up weak points, at which point it will be bolded. It will also be bolded if it is covering a true statement or any other dialogue, and can even bold itself if left to grow out of control! The only way to remove white noise is to make progress, so please be sure to move the discussion along! (White noise is tied to in game discussion, not real world time. Please remember to do your homework!)

"It's Justice. Fucking JUSTICE! And why even bother with a trial when we all know who did it! It was SASHA VIOLA!"

Dani Arizona

"...Right. Before we get to picking a culprit, maybe we should make sure we know what we know, right?"

'Eesha grunts. "The fuck is there to say? Hideaki is dead, and Viola did it."

"Right." Says Dani compliantly. "But how do we know Hideaki is dead? Let's get all our facts straight before we make the jump. So, how do we know it wasn't Pedro? It happened in his room, after all..."

"It's a pretty simple logical jump. Hideaki is the only one not here, right?" Saying this, Ashley looks around the circle for emphasis.

"Why did he have to die....why do we have to do this! why!? a few tears appear in the queens eyes

Yuki tilted her head, bewildered by the first question asked by Dani "Uhm, as Ashley said its kinda obvious who was killed, I mean there's even a picture of him with a x over it right there. As for your other question...uhm, I don't really know."

"Yeah! Hideaki's all X'ed out on his sign over there, so obviously he's the dead one. Unless Pedro is really actually super for reals a ghost!" Yukari seems to shrink into herself as she says it, with the word "ghost" coming out almost as a whisper. Ghosts?!
Shut up stupid, ghosts aren't real.

"And yet, where is the rest of the proof? Did anyone think to check why Mr. Nagito would be in Pedro's room?" Gaaaaay

Yukari immediately stands up, a violet aura of flame seeming to erupt from around her. "Ooh! OOH! Maybe they were having a TRYST! Haha!"

"SAYS YOU, GHOST! I BET HIDEAKI WAS JEALOUS OF SASHA, AND KILLED YOU IN ORDER TO KEEP YOU ALL TO HIMSELF!" Yukari's nose starts to tinge slightly pink with blood. "It was a passionate romance!" A passionate Romance!

"Well, we've ruled out Hideaki writing it. And the logical explanation is that she didn't write it and it's there to frame her.

Of course, we can't discount the possibility that's exactly the conclusion the killer thought we'd come to." She looks at Sahsa apologetically. "I believe that it's not you, but with all our lives at stake it's worth exhausting every possibility. Do you have an alibi that can be confirmed by someone else?"

"Throughout the day I have mainly been with Pedro and furthermore pedro can also confirm that I passed out right before we were about to have sex.I passed out becuase I Haven't slept in roughly a week before then.My gun was on me towards the latter half of the day and when I woke up it was gone pedro was the only one I let in my room.Any questions?"
