a friend of mine (jeffl35 from irc.freenode.net) set up a noVNC server that vies access to a running instance of Dwarf fortress. im inviting you all to come and play to see where this fort comes out.

Okay, that was interesting an unusual to look at. Added a Hotkey F2 to the bedroom-workshop level. Is it only 1 user at time, right?

Also, expected a chat. I take it it is in the irc, what's the channel?

Might belong in community games.

Its just the novnc package running a vnc hosted desktop.

I just wish it would let me connect directly. The browser in my phone doesn't seem to be able to properly connect (it logs me in, but canvas element never populates) so I wanted to try a real vnc client. Sadly, I can't get a direct connection on port 5900. I suspect it isn't forwarded by his router.

trolls derive thier pleasure from making other people upset.

getting upset, gives  them what they want.

instead, i have taken to viewing them as performance art comedians, and just laugh when i see them.

why would i ever stop doing something, just because a comedian made a practical joke? just laugh and move on. it discourages them far more than getting all butthurt does.
