Don't need infinite buckets or lye, don't need any ash for that.

But small corrections aside, primarily, haven't just messed around with work orders and it's easier to just put in 10 orders than learn at that very moment :v - I have automated mostly by workflow so far. Secondarily, I hope 10 bars of soap last a long time :P Though I suppose it does rain blood.

Fair bit happened. During the time when I took helm....

• Depot entrance was completed and sealed.



• Two migrant waves - population boomed from 40 to 75 (and if poults don't hatch soon, the eggs were probably not fertilized - should cook 'em in that case, with kitchen restrictions on plant cooking. On that note, entry carts were quadrupled:


Should replace floor with retracing bridge to "help" pet/children entrance, perhaps.

Miscellaneous from discord chat:

Rescued 1 dwarf from isolation

Seems we're out of brass bars, using zinc. Ordered more brass bars.

Our pets are insane, going to the glacier. Well, they can die there.

• Was wondering why nobody was building, when there's a huge glut of socializers - somebody turned off Constructing and such on lot of dwarves. Enabled a bit of it and architecture. Idlers isn't a high score to aim for >_>

And somebody restricted the masonry shop to only bridget

• Minecart quarry system was (almost) completed

Sorting of empty carts by weight:



Marked with notes, the order from RIGHT to left is
1: bloodthorn: dark red GLACIER
2: normal wood: brown, possibly light gray from tower-cap/featherwood/birch, possibly dark gray from blackcap, possibly red or dark red or dark gray from goblincap?, dark blue from nether-cap MARBLE
3: aluminium: white
4: zinc/tin/pewters: teal IRON
5: iron/steel/bronze/brass/electrum/nickel silver:  dark gray.
6: Copper/nickel/billion/black bronze/bismuthine: dark red, possibly?
7: Silver/sterling silver: white
8: Lead:  grey:
9: (Rose) Gold: purple
10: Platinum: white

This sorts carts output from z89 to quantum stockpile that also slowly fed from south, and is linked to all workshops on that z-level, on the z-level below and on the z-level above.



Those linked workshops are smelters above


And 2 more masons (3 total), 1 craftsdwarf and 1 mechanic below



The inputs are currently 3.

Marble quarry:



Glacier Quarry (no links, though it is alluvial layer)



Iron Quarry (there's more iron)



The unfinished bits are mostly some statues not being placed yet and the lack of gold quarry. Hope that doesn't cause an accident with slow hauling and carts ordered to be pushed....if it does, just forbid the carts till the statues are placed.

Also, the thing is partially untested so it'll probably fail somewhere along the way. The sorter looks vulnerable to jumps, for instance.

• Lots of people have some stone carving experience now. Also, we have lot of idlers.

Time to bring back the cloud9 instance that only runs parttime.

Note to fleeting frames and the others: Thank you for helping this stay a reality, i will have a offical server soon, and the game wont go down for a VERY long time then.

One random idea I had was multiple simultaneous players based on Warmist's server to web browser for DF.

I've been tossing around handily writing my own thing to interface with DFhack when its released, to render the game to everyone without the need for the laggy VNC. (fake screen ftw)
