Finally updated my github.
In un-related news, I saw the new dev notes, and I can hardly wait for the new update. Just imagine, you can have over 10 civs all having their own unique pets! You can have motorcycles for bandits, zombies for civilized necromancers, aphids(or whatever those things the ants milk are called) for antmen, robots for engineers, boulder crabs for dwarves, giant cave spiders for kobolds, and shaggy mumaks for orcs, all without using DFhack! And that is only one of the things the update adds!

The race I'm making for this mod is going to use unique pets to transform into its fort pops.

I think at this point we were waiting for both the new version and the project lead to have time to come back to it.

I've got traps covered and some ocean life which I just realized I never actually uploaded. Done.

There is like 5 metals in the game?
there's barely any creatures. If you look here, it sortoff tells you what we need: https://github.com/LordCerapter/D4FS/issues (ignore the wiki ones)
and there's only 1 grass.

Sounds like we've got all of this, except possibly the wiki pages, and the biomes having no animals. We might have all those biomes covered, but I'm not sure.
Dun has the ocean life covered, we got plenty of gems (I think),  I think Gwolfski had a coke-producing stone, language is changed(By the way, Dunamisdeos, Do any of your points about the language still stand, now that you know about the later updates?), we have flux stones, we have grass, we may have shrubs,  we have trainable animals (I think, though the evils and goods probably should have some ), we have egg-laying animals, and we have everything on page 2, except maybe the fish. I don't think we have plaster, though.

I'm thinking of making a Plants Vs. Zombies Civ. How powerful should the plants be?

Eh, I guess we got way into the minutiae of language before. It is functional now and not nearly as bad as I in my ignorance thought it was, but missing the grand diversity that vanilla boasts.

I am currently involved in a language project for a third-party application related to DF, and let me tell you it is mind-numbing at times. I say let's have everyone pitch in a bit with words and things and see where we are at the end. Ultra-detailed language files could be a good stretch goal.

Ha ha PvZ civ, that's highly amusing. You should make it some kind of undead civ that can place immobile plant turrets for defense :3
