EDIT: I'm wondering how you can add the ability to make an animal explode on death, or at least release clouds of fire gas that ignites when above freezing?

I got the idea for this when purging my RimWorld savefile's colony tile of boomrats, having over 60 before I decided to stop this.

Have a corpseitem with a low boiling point, and some kind of syndrome. A high fixed temp might also be in order.

Well, I want the corpse to stay intact, but with firegas appearing on death.

I can't think of any way to make it explode on death but leave a corpse.
Besides, why do you want an exploding creature to remain intact? Doesn't seem very realistic.

The reason why I want it to explode on death and leave a corpse is because the firegas sacs create a firey explosion when punctured.

Even though DF has no research system unlike RimWorld, is it OK to add modern weapons since this mod adds firearms?

Alright, time to read up on how to make raws from scratch.

Since we're making a custom tileset for D4FS, can one of the spritesheet guys make a M16 sprite since I'm going to make one for D4FS?

Also, how do you create ammo types? I want my 5.56 rounds for the M16 I'm making.
EDIT: Just copied over the regular musket bullets and edited them.

Pro-tip: Find an actual picture of the gun you want, use paint to shrink whole thing to 16x16, use as sprite. Added tiny ammo type.
