Simple fix is to have his character be unconscious and injured from the storm.

Hopefully that's not too on the nose...

Hopefully not.

God, I'm having issues responding to your character. That sort of philosophical analysis isn't something I'm sure my character would be able to do right now, as she is a warrior and not a sage. It's hard to try and write a response without my personal speaking mannerisms creeping into her words.

Then just have her be exasperated at him for trying to have a conversation during the middle of a fight. He's a death obsessed killer who, on the white-to-black grey scale of good and evil ranks in at a solid 'necktie'. She, presumably, is a bit more savvy.

Hm, too late for that. Maybe I should have just had her say "shut up, we're fighting" but that would close off any conversation until Dwarm gets combat done with. xD

Anders isn't evil, he's just a sociopath, is I assume what you are going for.

Hmm... Sociopath isn't quite right. He cares. Just very differently.

His morality is inhuman, but it exists.

Ah, so blue and orange. Fitting I suppose given dagonspeak.

So he still feels the regular range of human of emotion (perhaps barring love? I wouldn't expect him to experience love that isn't twisted, though) but the triggers are different.

Precisely. I don't know if its canon or not, but his personality is definitely partially alien, and shifting into more alien territory as time passes.

Do you think he could potentially be dragged more towards humanity, or at least have his shift slowed somewhat? Unlikely to happen since any method that would be likely to reach him would inherently feed the shifting anyway.

I don't know. I can't really think of anything that would, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't exist.

Interesting to think of, and he's certainly open to discussion, but he himself desires no change.

It's not a case of desire, it's a case of chemistry. Even if he himself did desire change (and I'm fairly sure of a way to convince him to) the fact is that he is physically and biologically incapable of changing. It's more than an attitude problem, it's inherent. He'd need some sort of magical aid (perhaps a powerful enchantment spell?) to become totally (or at least more) "normal".

But he'd probably still have to seek it out. Typically you have to ask for redemption, or at least transmutation in his case. Considering that he sees no deficit to his condition, he'd really have no desire to seek out the wizard/god/priest that could help, and would probably turn it down if the offer was made.

Charmed isn't Dominated ATHATH, it just makes it so whomever you charm considers you a trusted friend, not take control of their actions or gives you telepathic powers over them.

Dominated is on the other hand Dominated.

Also skeleton doesn't have the teleportation or movement to do all that in one turn >.>
