Short Backstory: Formally educated in Britain, Enitan was effectively caught into the communist revolution by simply being in Lagos when it happened. Not a party loyalist by any stretch, though given his recent membership and a curiosity about it's industrial policies (Not to mention the anti-imperialist views it has) has kept him out of harms way for the time being

Sounds like we have a few players who have overlapping specialities. It may be a case that someone has to accept a position that maybe outside their wheelhouse? Any ministries that we create that don't have a player will have an NPC, just something to keep in mind. Maybe one of you industry/economy folks want to take on domestic affairs or health/education?

But we also have to consider First Minister nominations. Is anyone officially throwing their hat in the ring?

Oh, and before ya lads start buying Il-2s from the ruskies you should probably make sure you have an airport.

Then conduct a census or several. You have no real data beyond very rough estimates. The bureaucracy is non-existant and before a functioning economy appears you need to have proper intel.

Yeah. From what I can see, we at least need someone with expertise in healthcare, education, administration and policing. I'd say construction as well but Vishdafish has that covered (He posted his sheet in the IC thread though.)

Anyway, my opinions on the topics begin discussed in the IC thread:
-We should appeal to the soviets for weapons and such. Just ask for the stuff they aren't using, like looted german gear. It's not as if they really care about it so it wouldn't be hard to convince them to part with it. This'll possibly even include aircraft which'll be advantageous. Either way, We only really need small arms and trucks/jeeps at the time though, everything else is a bonus

-Internally, we should be nothing less than full egalitarian! I mean we're communists, we'd be fascists if we treated some people differently due to ethnic background or the like. We should also have proper money as well. As much as we'd hate it, it is a necessary evil and means that keeping a truck of government money is easier

-Externally, we don't need that much effort to be expended. So long as we ensure the governments of our rivals do not escape we'll have an irontight claim that the UN cannot refute. Coaxing other nations to back us in being the legitimate government of nigeria is an option, though I have no idea where to go with that.

-For our guerrillas, keeping them at home isn't as bad an idea as it first sounds. If we get some proper disciple into them, we have the foundation of our special forces; using them to disrupt our foes before the army rolls in.

-In regards to war, the first target is the fascists; they're unlikely to get foreign aid at all barring some backroom deal, and ensuring that they cannot get stronger via foreign aid or trade is a priority. The democrats aren't as threatening and they lack maritime access of their own, meaning foreign aid they receive won't be near as much as the fascists can receive.

Well Pirate military tactics could cover police(Organizing and such), I could handle education/research(most research done in University), and if you want you could have your Industry cover Health by manufacting pharmcutals and other medical wares?.

Does our country have any sort of natural precious materials? Like silver or some kind of gem? If so, we should have paper money backed by it.

there's a good reason no one uses anything like the gold standard after the ww2, beside then our currencies strength will depend solely on what we manage to dig out of the ground. Why don't we just use what the Soviet Union is doing? It'll avoid complicating something which is better off less complicated.

To bew fair, money-wise the USSR is doing what... just about everyone else is, that being paper money.
