I remember this chat/news show ages ago pointing out that a website (i forget which one) had stories about the moon landing being faked on the same page they had stories that the Americans have a secret moon base.

Well DUH. They had to fake the landing to make us think the moon was all barren and dead and stuff. Otherwise people would be poking around their secret cheese mining operation, and their bat factories.

I actually know someone who I managed to argue into a great corner: The US government went to the moon all times but the first, but the first time they weren't able to go and didn't have any secret rocket technology, but they did have secret video filming technology.
